Going out with a bang💥

After chasing dolphines and flyingfish all day this happened - during the last hour of the last day i hooked this badboy - 156cm and 51kg🤘🏼

I have been chasing a nice topwater tuna for a long time and thanks to the expertise of @triaytuna and @paulcarlin i finally managed to get my hands on one 🙌

Epic trip !!

Claypit whale🐳

Always nice to see some of the lake’s unknown residents.

This one has as far as I know never seen the bank before and at 40,56lb (18,4kg) I am more than happy it chose me to show it around 🤙

Mussel Supreme with a pineapple topper from @specimenbaits did the trick 👌

While we wait…

Some catches are easier to remember than others. Not necessarily because of the size or weight, but because of the location or situations in life.

My pregnant wife and I were at the hospital today and were told that we have to come back tomorrow, and that when we do, we won’t be coming home again without a new little baby.

When we got home from the hospital today, my wife needed a rest and I therefore went out and recharged behind the rods.

The fact that this fine commoncarp chose to sweeten the wait in this situation makes it one I definitely will never forget ♥️

Trying the summer seatrout thing 🤙

The water is getting really hot and I have difficulty finding the fish, but at least I got one 🙌

I have never fished with dipsy divers and apex before, so very cool to learn something new ✌️

Locomotive mirror carp🚂

A quick overnighter resulted in this block of a mirrorcarp that blasted through every set of lillypads close by.

Steady pressure and a bit of luck and I could slide the net under this one 🤞

A mix of coconut unique and krill immense from @specimenbaits worked as always 🤌

First grasscarp 🌱

I had to look twice when this monster popped up from the deep. It put up a surprisingly hard fight💪

+1m and 16,2kg 🤙

@specimenbaits krill immense hard hookbait 18mm did the trick 🤌

Summer common 💪

What it did not have in size and weight it made up for in raw power. This fish spooled me and if I had lost it, it would have been a monster 😉

Hello old friend 👋

A nice reunion with this old warrior. It is the 3rd time I’ve caught it in the last 2 years 😅

Dear diary ♥️

Today Karla caught her first fish by her self!

Teach them young 🥰

My daughter is almost as fascinated about fish as I am - the enthusiasm is contagious 😇

This for me is the perfect summer picture: high pressure, blue skies and sharing the fishing passion♥️

Another work-night victim🤘

This character had been on my list for a long time and now I can finally cross it✔️ With its spiky dorsal it is quite a unit. It has the frame but was clearly a lot down in weight after spawning. It still put up a hell of a scrap💪

Caught on a white 15mm mussel supreme soaked in matching boilie dip from @specimenbaits. Attached to it was a small stickbag with 4,5mm bloodworm pellets.

It brings an extra sense of having earned it when doing these work-night overnighters - arriving at the lake after the little one is tugged in and packing up before the family wakes up - especially when doing so in the rain 🌧️
