Back to where it all began. Hackney Half guaranteed to be the most fun event in the calendar.Really wanted to hang on to a PB with @jwarnockk and @incapadfield but had to jump off at 10k for fear of losing my legs and toes for good 😅I need to buck this trend of blowing up in London races. But I had a blast and made some friends along the way. Long may that continue. HACKNEY HALF ‘26This one means a lot. Hackney was my first ever race 5 years ago. I raised some money for a kidney charity and ran 4 months after donating a kidney to my mother (swipe to see some OG shots!).Thanks so much to @sapgoodenergy for making this happen. Fresh carbons, banging kit, new faces and a whole lot of good energy 🙏🍁Unreal weekend already and the best has yet to come. LDN MARA What a time. Nothing I love more than going after it and making friends along the way.Another massive thank you to @prodirectrunning for making this happen. I still have zero idea why I got selected to run London with you but I am so grateful! I’ll never forget the months leading up to this @lauruns.diary @rachsanderss @danprettejohn @benloftusfilm @bspence33 @lindagarrett__ 🙏And the race itself was special📸1-3 - @adrianvarzaru the goat! Thanks for these brother! Unreal shots 🙌4 - teamed up with @rich.dawley.runs from km 2 to 30 on our way to our sub 2:45 goal - clipping those miles together was epic. Thought we were invincible through Tower Bridge. 5-6 - my race was done but my day wasn’t. Did everything I could to soak it all in. Shoutout @jameshendley for that epic snap 🙏7-8 - glad I have these cuz I don’t remember seeing Big Ben or Bucky P at all 🙃9 - my training partner @nathanieljohnking took me off the back of two stewards and carried me to my medal. Absolute legend. Negative split masterclass and big PB for the man 👏Can’t believe it’s all over. Until next time 👋 by @mikkmoves

LDN MARAWhat an event to be a part of. Things didn’t quite go to plan but decided to make it my day anyway.Turned the watch off splits to just show time of day and soaked in that London energy. Highly recommend this when your plan A, B and C goes out the window. This is the best city in the world at its absolute finest. I don’t regret going for it at all. My only regret was not seeing my support crew and the Grove Lane gang on that embankment stretch. Was too busy getting the wrong side of the crowd pumped 🙃Thank you so much to my wife, friends and family out there supporting. Every scream, shout, sign and message means so much. Onwards and upwards. by @mikkmoves

Week 12 and finally RACE WEEK 🏁Life has been unreal this week. Special thank you to the @prodirectrunning for giving me and @lauruns.diary an experience of a life time 🙏Now it’s time for us to storm the streets of London. My second marathon. First major. Hometown race. Time to get after it 😤The game plan is to stick with the 2:45 group and hang on for dear life. I have no problem with making my goals public so here we go:A goal: 2:44:XXB goal: 2:45:XXC goal: 2:48:XX and try to have some fun maybe 🤷‍♂️Let’s bring it home. by @mikkmoves
