The Snare Drum Project

For his Sonic Boom evening 🗓️ on Tuesday 26 May at 8.00 pm, Mikołaj Rytowski invites Etienne Nillesen and Fabrizio di Salvo to «the snare drum project». Three distinct artistic approaches focus on the snare drum. Between sound research, sculptural approaches and spatial constellations, the instrument emerges as a resonating body and a field of experimentation beyond its familiar role.

Programme:

Etienne Nillesen (*1978): solo
Fabrizio di Salvo (*1981): «ptera»
Mikołaj Rytowski: «the snare drum project»

Erase everything you thought about percussion. @mikorytowski (literally) deconstructs the snare drum and redefines what an installation and musical performance can be.

Feel the beat pulsate in every inch of your body at this ONE NIGHT ONLY performance.
