Last week at work, my boss called and said we needed to head to the studio to shoot ads for some of our products—especially a new one we were about to launch.

As usual, I thought it would be a quick in-and-out session. Two hours max.
But two hours turned into three… three turned into six.

We completely lost track of time because we were fully immersed in the work. This time, we didn’t stick to our regular concepts,we explored different styles, experimented creatively, and pushed ourselves beyond what we usually do.

It was fun, yes but also intense. I was on my feet for almost six hours straight. At some point, it honestly felt like I was on a movie set 😹.
But the biggest takeaway for me was this:
That was my first time ever shooting for six hours. I had never done it before. I never even thought I could,until I did.
That experience reminded me that sometimes, we don’t know our capacity until we’re stretched. Growth often shows up disguised as stress, long hours, and unfamiliar territory and when it’s over, you realize: “I’m capable of more than I thought.” taken in Ipaja, Lagos, Nigeria by @mikun_bubbles

Happy New Year everyone 🎉. I hope it's not too late to say this.
The new year came with the reminder that we don’t always know what the future holds, but life has a way of teaching us, shaping us, and guiding us through every experience. Each lesson, whether loud or quiet, adds to who we're becoming.
This year, I'm choosing growth over fear, progress over perfection, and grace over pressure. I'll take things one step at a time, trust the process, and show up even while learning.
