On Sunday I closed In The Heights as Vanessa, I can confidently say that it is one of the experiences that has changed my life the most. The cultural significance alone meant the world to me as a proud Latina. This is the first role/show that I have gotten to do that put my culture at the front of the story, and that has been the biggest joy of my life. I have loved this show, and I have loved the people that I had the pleasure of getting to tell this story with. You all have become my family, and I will miss you guys every day. I have dreamed of doing this show ever since I started to take performing seriously, so this has been such a dream come true. Thank you to everyone at @lwplayhouse that made this happen.
Until next time Washington Heights, until next time Vanessa. 🇩🇴
