This is my perfect 24 hours in Colorado Springs 🌄
Sunrise at Palmer Park, coffee in Old Colorado City, mountain air on Pikes Peak, sunset at Garden of the Gods, and late-night vibes on Tejon Street.

🎃🚂 Would you ride through the Royal Gorge after dark?

We experienced the Halloween Laser Light Show aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad and loved seeing the canyon come alive with lights and music! ✨ We rode Deluxe Class, enjoyed dinner and drinks, and stepped out into the open-air car for the best views.

👻 Halloween Light Show dates: Oct. 10, 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 & 31.

🎅 And coming next: Santa Express starts November 19! A magical holiday train ride through the Royal Gorge to meet Santa at the North Pole. 🎄✨

I was told to try the Safeway bakery for our gender reveal cake… and I was genuinely SO impressed. 🥹🩷💙

I wanted something simple, pretty and personalized for our little reveal, and the whole experience was wonderful. Angie at the bakery helped me choose everything and worked with me on the design to create exactly what I had pictured. She did such a beautiful job decorating it! 🎂✨

And can we talk about the price?! $26.99 for a personalized cake that looked this cute AND tasted delicious. Such a great find for birthdays, baby showers, gender reveals or really any celebration.

And the sweetest part of all… cutting into BLUE. 💙👶🏻 We’re having a baby boy!

A big thank you to Angie for making our little celebration extra special. 💙

Colorado road trips hit different in the fall 🍂🍁🚗
Whether I’m chasing fall colors, catching a mountain sunrise, heading out for a scenic train ride, or driving home with a Colorado sunset in the rearview, so many of my adventures start on the road.
And a little reminder for everyone using Colorado Express
Lanes: only enter or exit where the line is dashed.
Never cross the solid line.
Colorado uses cameras and sensors to enforce Express Lane rules, and crossing the solid line will result in a $75 fine.
So enjoy the drive, soak up those Colorado views, and save the lane change for the dashed line.🤍

FALL IS HERE🍂☕️

If you’re looking for a cozy spot to celebrate the start of fall in Colorado Springs, add Wayfinder Coffee Co. to your list.

Their seasonal drink menu has so many fun fall flavors, but I went for the Pumpkin Cookie Latte 🎃 and it was delicious.

And whatever you do… don’t skip the Caramel Apple Pie Roll. 🍎🤎 Warm, sweet, gooey, and easily my favorite part of this coffee stop.

Coffee + fall flavors + a cozy atmosphere = my kind of September afternoon. 🍁

💙 IT’S A BOY. 💙

Two little words that carry years of a story behind them.

Years of trying.
Years of hoping.
Disappointments that broke our hearts.
Expensive treatments.
So much waiting, patience, and uncertainty.
And somehow, through all of it, we kept going. 🤍

There were so many moments when this life felt impossibly far away. And now we’re sitting around a table with our family, cutting into a cake and seeing BLUE. 🥹💙

Our little boy.

You are already so deeply loved, and you have no idea how long we have dreamed of you.

After everything it took to get here, this little blue moment meant more than I could ever put into words.

I got a behind-the-scenes preview of the Pikes Peak Regional Airshow during Media Day today, including an unforgettable flight in a WWII B-25 Mitchell! Now it’s your turn to see these incredible aircraft in action.

✈️ PIKES PEAK REGIONAL AIRSHOW
📅 Saturday, September 19 + Sunday, September 20
📍 U.S. Army A/DACG Facility, Colorado Springs
🚪 Grounds open: 8:30 AM
✈️ Airshow begins: 10:50 AM
🔥 Flying performances through 2:10 PM
🛩️ Hot Ramp opens to the public: 2:10 PM
🕓 Grounds close: 4 PM

The lineup includes historic warbirds, the Wings of Blue USAF Parachute Team, Bomber Parade, C-130 MAFFS demonstration, Fighter Parade, Red Tail P-51 demonstration, F-18 Rhino Demonstration Team and more. ✈️

Tickets are still available online throughout Airshow weekend, so even if you’re making last-minute plans, check ticket availability before heading out. 🎟️ General parking is FREE.

🚗 ARRIVE EARLY. Organizers are expecting heavy traffic getting into and out of the Airshow, and parking and gates open at 8:30 AM.

There’s something extra special about watching Colorado turn gold from an open-air train car. 🍂🚂

We rode @leadvillerailroad this past weekend, and the fall scenery was incredible. The route takes you through the mountains with views of the Arkansas River, towering peaks, and stretches of golden aspens that feel like you’re riding straight through fall. 💛

We booked Coach Seating for $66/person, which is first come, first served, so I definitely recommend arriving early if you want to grab your favorite spot.

A few things I loved knowing before the ride:
🍁 Open-air cars for those beautiful mountain views
🥪 Food and drinks are available for purchase on the train
🚻 Restrooms are available onboard
📸 Bring your camera because the views just keep coming

We absolutely loved this experience, and if a Colorado fall train ride has been sitting on your bucket list, this is such a beautiful time to go.
