We open tonight!

If you’re in Lincoln and have 75 minutes to spare, consider coming to support this story that means to much to me.

3/20 @ 7:30
3/21 @ 7:30
3/22 @ 2:00

Additionally, come support The Choir Rehearsal performing this weekend as well! Both teams have worked incredibly hard and the NWU student directed department is always in need of more audiences.

Finally, I want to extend a special “thank you” to Aly Kantor, the playwright of She Got Better, for going above and beyond in her support of this production. From my first email inquiring about the rights, she has made this process so smooth and has maintained contact throughout (she even emailed me 10 minutes ago, like guys getting to work WITH the playwright of a show is so cool). by @miladafiedler

i’m choosing here to make the heartfelt post because less people follow it. this fall play was such a wild ride and most of you know why. from scrambling to find a shift cover for callbacks to missing half the rehearsals because i had work, going to the emergency room for mental health intake, and speeding to pius from partial hospitalisation during the entirety of tech week. any one of my friends can tell you that i’m not, and have not been, doing well mentally. but what i can tell you is that each and every person involved in this show made my life just a bit brighter. so even if i wanted to curl up and die during most of the rehearsal process and performances, i’m glad i stuck with it and i wouldn’t change it for the world. if anyone were to come to me and ask how they could make it through high school, i would direct them straight to this wonderful department. we’ve had our ups and [fall play 2021] but nothing on this earth could ever compare to the joy this family brings me. i can’t wait for the rest of the year with these amazing people. by @miladafiedler
