Meet Mila Domic, currently in top rankings heading into Medal Finals. 🎉

She’s been riding for seven years, five of them with LAHJA, and competes in equitation with her horse Cookie (a certified treat lover, especially apple flavored water) under trainer Michelle Morris at The Clearing Farm.

Her favorite show memory so far: winning both rounds of the Bronze Final back in 2024.

On prepping for Medal Finals: “I’m trying to be very consistent and build the connection with my horse, and focus on my position in the saddle.”

Her advice for riders headed into their first Medal Final: “Don’t be too harsh on yourself, don’t put a lot of pressure on yourself. Be confident going in the ring, and if you don’t do well, it’s fine, it’s your first one. Focus on coming out feeling like you put in the best round you could.”

🥇 Wishing Mila and Cookie the best of luck this season.

Cookie was so amazing all week in our medals. We were 8th in the NCEA and 8th in the Jumpseat out of large groups, and on Sunday night we won the Style of Riding in the Grand Prix ring! Cookie also took me around my first Whitethorne which was so fun and a great experience! So grateful for this horse and my trainers @michellemorris22 @jackdw_illiams @melissa.jones.507!
