Because it’s a Living Legends Birthday …. I want everyone to help me and our family celebrate and wish one of the greatest designers on the planet who just happens to be my Mother, Sister, Auntie, & Gigi, a “Very Happy Birthday” @lsodesigns @milancdior @chefnikitaleone @simplyfontasia @bsoulfultati @frecklefacerere

My Mother started sewing at 8 years old and has created custom made original designs and pieces for many of the greatest Hollywood celebrities, recording artists, and iconic sports figures, comedians around the world in every genre.

So please help our family in wishing her another blessed trip around the sun today August 9th. Without you, there would be no me! Without you, the universe would definitely be less fashionable 🧵🪡….. We put our show on pause but the world needs to know it’s more fashionable with LSO.

Fashion history is meant to inspire, not stay archived & some pieces deserve a second life.

I transformed the back of these “Hella Good” pants originally made for Gwen Stefani by my grandma @lsodesigns into an asymmetrical skirt inspired by some of her unforgettable early 2000s looks. I love taking garments apart and reimagining them into something completely different while keeping the original attitude alive.

🕊️Tre’ Major. Waking up today, Im seeing his influence everywhere. This one is hard to process because I JUST sent Tré a text message the day before receiving the call from my mom yesterday, so that we could schedule our photoshoot. Not just any photoshoot, but Tré consistently called me every couple of months this year to see when our schedules aligned so that he could style, do hair & glam for my grandmother, my mother, myself & my 3 year old daughter. Tré has been wanting to create our generational photoshoot even when my great grandmother was still here on Earth with us. I just know Tré is laughing with Gram and telling her she should’ve got her girls together, because although we planned content ideas for it, chose our matching outfits, and set a date for this upcoming month when he got back in town, God wanted his angel back faster than our schedules aligned so that we could sit down for an hour of glam. Tré can finally go hug his baby brother he lost a month before, Tré can tell gram we love her the whole world and there’s nothing she can do about it & Tré is reunited with his best friend & everybody’s baby girl, Aaliyah.

Thank you Tré, not only for the long creative talks, the motivation, how much you adored my family and always supported us, but for allowing us to adore you and join forces on numerous occasions. Thank you for trusting me with the news of your health. The last phone call we had at the end of July, I laughed with you because we were playing phone tag & didn’t care who was it, we just had to get it planned. When you confided in me, something in your voice told me to rush the process for our photoshoot, not even realizing that would be the last time I got to hear your radiating voice & energy. Lord knows I’m still waiting on a text back from you and praying that we are still just playing phone tag. Sending my love to the rest of your family, your other friends & your husband who you always spoke about dearly. I never got to meet him, however you are bringing us together now to celebrate your life.

Rest in Paradise Tré , knowing you’ve impacted the culture in a MAJOR way 🖤

My high school friend and makeup artist created her personalized beauty app to help women actually learn how to do their own makeup and obviously I had to put it to the test!

I followed the step by step tutorial and these close ups are the final results of the Latte Makeup look ✨ There’s something so empowering about having the knowledge and confidence to create your own look when you want to. I learned so many new tricks!
