Portola Day II recap: saw ninajirachi (great energy), queen Kelela (stunning) & caught some of Swedish House Mafia (bangin!) set before heading back to the Warehouse 🖤

Met up with friends, saw Overmono (euphoric), and wrapped up the evening with four tet, whose set felt the most intentional and creative. Definitely my favorite set of the weekend.

Live music lives in SJ — you’ve just gotta know where to listen.

Over two months I interviewed more than 15 artists, DIY organizers, sound engineers, photographers and community builders across San José — the people keeping this city's cultural heartbeat alive. And there are still so many missing from this story. I see you. :)
