Prayer isn’t coming down the stairs to see what is under the tree on Christmas morning. It’s a well-pruned garden in your consciousness.

Prayer for today isn’t the search of a genie to grant your wishes. It’s having eyes wide open under cover of a clear and vast sky. by @milehichurch

Forgiveness, it has been said, is an act of radical self-interest.

Forgiveness can look like pardoning, letting go, healing, or reconciliation. One key metaphor for forgiveness is turning the page, and asking the question, “Am I willing to move on from the story I am telling, so that I can embrace the next chapter that is waiting for me?” by @milehichurch

Life is forever initiating us into Itself. This is a process that includes much love and laughter but also grief and sadness, and the fear of entering unknown worlds. If we can cultivate a mindfulness in our center, we can see that even amid struggle, a principle of progress is there to move us forward if we let it. by @milehichurch
