since I’m off work today thought I’d take time to do a Monstera Monday pic! I like all plants but have a special kind of love for monstera. Got my first monstera deliciosa from Home Depot in 2011 when my husband and I bought our first home in Colorado. I was excited to have room for a big plant 🌿 knew nothing about staking plants back then and let it crawl out of control in a spare bedroom. Anyways here is my Devil Monster. I purchased her from @plantsbysherylanne when she was in Thailand. I absolutely love this plant and can’t wait to watch her grow for years to come #monsteramonday #monstera #monsteradevilmonster #monsteralovers taken in Castle Rock, Colorado by @milehighjungle

converting an old candle sconce into a display for trailing plants 🌿 excited to watch them fill out the space. I will add some more scindapsus soon have quite a few growing in prop boxes. Made sure to have good airflow as I’m keeping it around 60-65% humidity and using a Barrina T1S several hours a day to provide light ☀️#plantdecor #plantdesign #plantroom #plantaesthetic #trailingplants by @milehighjungle

So many beautiful plants at @denverplantfest today! The time and care vendors put into their plants is incredible and much appreciated 💕 my hair artist @calida.studio is also a plant lover so we got some coffee and went to the show together 🥰 I was able to start my begonia collection today!! Solo 18 oz clear plastic cup in a 32 oz tumbler worked perfect for this queen starting to grow tall. I also cut another solo cup to make a moss collar. I had her in the soil she came in a while ago but leaves were getting crispy despite consistent watering. Once I moved her to Lechuza Blackstone her growth accelerated and no crispy leaves. I use chunky mix too depending on the plant but for me and my environment I’m finding Lechuza Blackstone has been a slam dunk especially with my anthurium and on quite a few alocasia #lechuzapon #anthuriumwarocqueanum #queenanthurium by @milehighjungle

I love jades. She is overdue for a pruning, 2-3x a year I remove quite a few leaves and cut some branches to keep her growing upright. She has an ancient / old world type feel and is definitely a statement piece. She’s been my number 1 for almost 15 years and I’m assuming will outlive me 🌿 #gollumjade #jadeplant #jadeplants by @milehighjungle
