Welcome to the Omega Sports Hall of Fame, Brother Eric M. Bieniemy, Jr.

During the 85th Grand Conclave in Cincinnati, Brother Bieniemy was officially inducted as a member of the 2026 Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Sports Hall of Fame Class.

A national champion at the University of Colorado, Bieniemy finished his collegiate career as the Buffaloes’ all-time leading rusher. His spectacular senior season helped lead Colorado to the 1990 National Championship and placed him third in voting for the Heisman Trophy, establishing him as one of the premier players in college football.

Bieniemy went on to spend nine seasons as an NFL running back before establishing himself as one of football’s most accomplished coaches, helping lead the Kansas City Chiefs to two Super Bowl championships as offensive coordinator.

From a Heisman Trophy finalist and national champion on the field to a two-time Super Bowl champion coach on the sideline, Brother Bieniemy’s career represents excellence, leadership and achievement at the highest levels of football.

We proudly welcome Eric M. Bieniemy, Jr. into the Omega Sports Hall of Fame!
