🦘🎺 My 1st trumpet moment in Lutruwita (prev known as Tasmania). 1st listen 1st take. I don't have a space for my studio yet but have a gig Aug 1 playing horn at the mighty @monamuseum w @jamiepregnellguitar and @shhorishere so needed to start practicing. I wanted something to play along with so pressed play on this new Fathers album (see musicians below) and the first track did it for me. Sat down outside and pressed play and record. Tas winter outdoor vibes.

🌳Im settling in well. After four days of any trip, I start to get antsy and start looking for work. It's the fastest way to learn what the community wants and how I can be of service to them. Plus, If money is going out, I want it to be coming in, especially with a family. Putting the feelers out and getting close to community work already again. I have a meeting next week.

For enjoyment, being with. @shhorishere 's family has been a good way to settle in. Good people. The sound of the ocean 🌊 waves has been calling me and I've been visiting it frequently. It's a short walk. Now made even easier with this new Grandma E-bike I got used. Now I can shop for groceries as well and explore my new home region. I'm going to avoid driving the car as long as possible. Plus they have a bus system that is free. Pretty easy so far. Thankfully they also have #bikelanes along the ocean. Boom.
