Second half of the Albania trip! This was such a fun time. It was my first trip with a tour guide and I would 100% do it again. He made everything so seamless and we got to experience so much. The girls made this trip so phenomenal❤️❤️❤️ by @milesbymimi

First 4 days in Albania! We flew into Tirana and stayed 2 nights.. we went to a communist history museum in a bunker, learned a lot about the countries history, and went out to a speakeasy! Next, we drove to Berat where we kayaked on the river (I fell in) + hiked up the the castle, then went to Gjirokastra for a castle tour, yummy dinner, and watched the Aussie World Cup game! Last Greece post & it’s a big one! Our final destination was Naxos! This island was a completely different vibe than the others. We described it as a mix between the vibe of Mexico with the views of Hawaii. It had lovely beaches and very a quaint town and restaurants.

From Naxos we took a cruise to Ano Koufonissi Island. This was an extremely small island, but had one of the prettiest beaches I have seen in my lifetime.
The crew also took us to Rina Cave (off the coast of an uninhabited island), where we got to snorkel, and I got to cliff jump as well!

On our last day, we stopped in Mykonos, and contrary to popular opinion, this was our least favorite island! Due to where the island is located, it is extremely windy, and that was slightly unbearable in our opinion. Nevertheless, it was great to see.

My final rankings for the Greek islands would be
1. Naxos
2. Santorini
3. Ano Koufonissi
4. Athens/ (Mainland)
5. Mykonos

Greece easily entered its way into my top 5 countries! Alongside with Italy, South Africa, Singapore, & Canada :) Shoutout my mom for being the best person in the world and taking me on such a lovely trip! Can’t wait to come back one day taken in Naxos, Greece by @milesbymimi

Next stop, Santorini! We stayed in Fira, but day tripped over to Oia as well. The views were UNREAL and we had perfect weather. We had such yummy food and great shopping! Our air bnb had a hot tub and tanning spot that overlooked the caldera (cliff side) & we ate breakfast with a view every morning! Santorini has been a bucket list spot for my mom and I and so happy we got to check it off!✅ taken in Santorini, Greek Islands by @milesbymimi

First post of our trip to Greece! We flew into Athens and spent 24 hours in the city center. Just enough time to eat a yummy Greek dinner, go to acropolis and see the Parthenon, and get our 20k steps in. We got some ice cream and we’re on our way to the airport to go to Santorini. Falling behind on some posts! Here are the last 2 days! We made it to Ortisei! A super small and quaint town in northern region of Italy (only 27 miles from Germany!) we slept over 12 hours when we got here so you could say our bodies needed it. Another day another 11 miles! Yesterday we hiked down 3000 feet, just to gain almost 2000 in only 2 miles! (Very steep to say the least!)
We woke up to the snow and were a little scared.. but it ended up being the most beautifully sunny birthday dream day!
These pictures don’t even begun to capture the ethereal views the trek had… but I did my best to show it!!

We’ve made it to the Dolomites!!!! Some highlights from Bolzano -> Seis -> Tires. The pictures can’t even do this day justice

Took my first solo trip to Scotland! Highlights included lots of greenery, Edinburgh castle, Harry Potter walking tour of the city, national museum + national library, whiskey tasting, and a cafe called “Mimi’s”! Met some interesting characters, but definitely a cool experience all around. Back to London now :) by @milesbymimi

First stop of the summer!!! Spent a couple days in London with Addie! Met her new coworkers, her friend she met in Peru, & made other new friends.. she forced me to go on a run with her not even 10 hours off the plane but I hade a great time. We had a sunset picnic in the park & then headed to the pubs. We taught Addie’s coworkers (from Germany, India, & El Salvador) how to place kings cup and had the funniest time coming up with words that rhyme since everyone had a different accent. (They were convinced water and shoulder rhymed) (or bottom & palm). We got to go to a free zoo and see baby piglets that were only 10 days old!! We named one Gus and then he woke up all the other pigs and was a menace of course. We went to trafalgar tavern for a beer and ended up steeling a baby & told her parents we would watch her while they drank!
