Using the Aprilskin Real Calendula Peel Off Mask was a pleasant experience from start to finish. After cleansing my face, I applied an even layer, avoiding the eye and lip areas. The mask has a light, subtle floral scent that’s not overpowering. It spreads easily, and I made sure to apply a slightly thicker layer as some reviews suggested this helps with easier removal.

As the mask dried (which took about 20-25 minutes for me), I felt a gentle tightening sensation, but no discomfort or irritation. Once fully dry, it transformed into a translucent, flexible film. The peeling process was surprisingly satisfying; it came off in relatively large pieces, and I could actually see some impurities lifted from my pores, particularly around my nose. It didn’t feel overly harsh or tug at my skin, which is a common concern with peel-off masks.

Immediately after removal, my skin felt incredibly soft, smooth, and genuinely cleaner. The most noticeable effect was the reduction in redness and an overall calmer complexion.
