In an industry where surnames are inherited currencies, Bazaar India’s April-May cover star, Tabu (@tabutiful), has operated for over three decades on a mononym. To understand her career is to understand what it meant to say yes to things the industry was not ready for and to have the instinct to recognise those things as worthy, even when no template existed for them. But she refuses to call it rebellion. “It was simply a reflection of who I am. The roles I chose, the decisions I made—they came from some similar place throughout my life. Some part of me has been completely unchanged,” she insists.

In the age of digital world .. i am still the old school girl who likes hard copies .. always likes to open a book or an album to relieve the moment .. today i got hand’s on this beauty.. and oh what a sweet little victory feeling i had to see my name printed out there for the first time..! Yes I am that girl who goes all chirpy and happy in these small little things and i am forever grateful to my fav @tabutiful in believing & trusting me 🥹🖤 and what an amazing team we had!!
