POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some highlights from quite possibly the most epic road trip of my life! Nanaimo to Yucca Valley took me three months, nearly half of which was waiting on parts, repairs and side quests getting all prepped and safe enough to travel in this old squeaky ass remodelled ‘84 Coach with the help of my boys. This was essentially my dream trip when I bought this machine in my late 20’s. It might take longer than expected but some adventures are just too good to give up on I suppose.. 🏜️ by @milk_jagger

#Premiere: CITIZENRY - "Certain Days" ⚡️

Even if you don't immediately recognize Mike Wallace's name, you've probably heard his music. The highly skilled percussionist has been and continues to be a vital part of two of Canada's most revered post-punk bands: Women, and @pre_occupations.

Now, with the electro-punk, motorik-inspired @_c_i_t_i_z_e_n_r_y_, Wallace is stepping forth from the kit to lead his own project.

Full interview + premiere at readrange.com. 🎧

CITIZENRY released their debut self-titled album earlier this year via Safe Sounds [SS128].

The solo project of Mike Wallace, the enigmatic drummer for the likes of @pre_occupations, @odonisodonis, Women, @bloodslideband and more, @_c_i_t_i_z_e_n_r_y_ visited the Safe Sounds bank vault to perform a selection of tracks we’re going to be releasing weekly!

We start with ‘Instrumental’ where Wallace uses sensory percussion via drum triggers to perform an improvised solo. This music has never been heard before.

Deep dive into CITIZENRY’s debut album in full now via their Bandcamp. Learn more about CITIZENRY at safesounds.ca
