I feel like something meaningful I could do for her is to talk about her in this here caption so feel free to skip my yappatron if you wish or stay if u like yaps.

It’s weird because I’ve always felt like I like many characters but I’ve always wished to be obsessed with just a single one like I see other people doing. But I just don’t think that’ll ever be me ig. I started really getting into Vocaloid when I told my friends/family about it and they started assuming I was a big fan and then I guess I wanted to be known for it so I DID become a big fan 🤷‍♀️.

It’s probably the same with Lapis, I remember seeing her first and thinking like “why do they keep making random ahh characters” I thought there was nothing interesting about her especially. (Ironically) And I want to lean away from cutest elements a bit as I think I enjoy more realistic/serious themes in art. So it’s weird that my main favourite would be such a cutesy character?

And i think that brings me back to my first point of- “I like many things, not just one thing I’m known for” So I guess I can make cute or serious art and I can like many vocaloids, but I’m having fun (kinda) obsessing over lapis for now. I just hope I don’t stop liking her and it becomes just a “Lapis phase”.

And if I continue drawing her I hope to host another Lapis collab next year. 🩵 (and maybe a Merli one? 👀)

🧡Happy 7th Anniversary to Adachi Rei! 🧡🛜🤖

Their Utau voicebank at least haha

The robot girl ever- yall probably seen me complain before on my Rei posts but it sucks they don’t have Picdos “Let’s head to Tougenkyou” album on here. So I just added one of the songs myself haha

This song is “Let’s head to Tougenkyou” so :p. Picdo is the artist who also made “My bread was burnt to a crisp”! 🌝
