If you’d like to use the same budgeting system as me it’s in my bio (or comment the word BUDGET and I’ll send you the 🔗)

This is everything that I spent living in London in the month of September as a 34 year old DINK (that’s double income no kids for the uninitiated).

Shoutout @costco_uk and @cetaphiluk for keeping my expenses low but face and body feeling good 💕

6 things I looked at when I moved to the UK and was choosing an investment platform 💰

1. Does it have the right account? In the UK, this means a stocks and shares ISA where you can invest up to £20k per year tax free.

2. What can I invest in? For me, I’m looking for specific ETFs!

3. Fees - what are the platform and trading fees? These can add up QUICKLY.

4. UX - bad UX is a no from me.

5. FCA approval - no approval, no investing from me

6. Sign-up bonuses - everything else being equal, I’ll look for the platform with the best sign-up bonus 🎉

I personally use @trading212 because it ticks all of these boxes, and you can sign up using the code MILKY to get a free fractional share worth up to £100 (sponsored code, terms apply) by @milky.world0

I take this sh*t seriously 🫡

I am so sick of seeing rubbish financial education online. From influencers trying to get you into their trading discords, to shilling of penny stocks and way more.

But the fact is, between 30 and 60% of people in the UK are turning to social media for their personal financial education (when really it should be taught in schools).

So I’m on a mission to create content that not only shares my ~journey~ and experience building wealth, but also the professional grade education to back it up. I take my responsibility as someone who talks about money online SERIOUSLY.

Also this was my first time trying @gailsbakery 😭 it lived up to the hype.

The UK government has announced changes to how we’re getting taxed from April 2027 (spoiler: it’s more tax).

These are the three changes that I’m making to how I manage my money, so I don’t get caught out 🤝

How much do you need to earn to buy the average (£553k) property in London? If you want to meet the best practise affordability criteria, it’s probably more than you think 🌝

Comment MORTGAGE and I’ll send you the link to get my free mortgage repayment calculator (or check it at the link in my bio) 🔗 taken in London, England by @milky.world0

The UK government wants us to save less money (seriously). From April 2027 they are lowering the cash ISA limit to £12,000 (the overall ISA limit is staying the same).

This is everything you need to know, plus my strategy for savings now I’m saving for a house deposit!

Let me know in comments: do you think this is a good idea from the government?? by @milky.world0

Comment REPORT and I’ll send you the link to read the full report yourself (make sure you’re following so I can send you messages) 💌

I recently read a report (published in the wall street journal) that has challenged the stereotypes that people have around ultra financially succesfull women.

Dissapointingly, but not surprisingly, women make up only 5% of the top 1% of US earners (made up of people earning over $775,000).

BUT what did surprise me was the traits that these women have in common:
💃🏼They have full lives outside of work
🤷‍♀️They don’t need a thick skin
🙈 They have imposter syndrome

But they are still wildly ambitious and succesfull. by @milky.world0
