Hey everyone! Just wanted to make an update on @mempalaceofficial, I heard people were having some issues with the auto-save wiring, but we made links to our website through out the README to have a more user friendly, aesthetic feel, so maybe some of you didn’t click on them, but all the instructions are there and none of your ai convos will be autosave without them. Also, I Claude code only saves your json files for a month, so please go to our GitHub page and get the links on how to retrieve your data from them before it’s permanently deleted! I also gave people some tools to manually save things as well. Codex users don’t have a time limit so they’re ok . But you still need to get your files if you want to save them to MemPalace. Other than that, just working on the next update where there will be a lot of great new features! Xo m❤️ by @millajovovich

MemPalace update! V3.3.4 is live and ranking at #406 on GitHub as of last night!🥳 Please visit the MemPalaceOfficial website (designed by @domiscd, click the link in my bio to get on it) and make sure to subscribe because it’s a pretty new feature and we’re very proud of it lol! That way you can be ahead of the curve and get announcements and updates before anyone else! I want to officially welcome @igorls as our lead engineer to the team👏👏👏👏! He has completed the pyramid of the team, which was really just me at first, then @bensigs helped put a bit of polish on the original code I made with my agent Lumi on Claude CLI. We released it and within 48 hours found ourselves buried under a tsunami of people asking questions, sending ideas for patches and/or issues that needed attention. Ben quickly got Igor involved and they created a “triage unit” lol, because too many requests were coming to handle and while Igor continued to work with me on refining the vision I started with the first launch, he is also maintaining the site and simultaneously doing a million other things. Between Ben and Igor, I’ve NEVER seen multi tasking on that level🤯✊. Ben also brought on HP Hein, a member of the community to work on triage because as word of mouth spread and more and more people joined the MemPalace repo on GitHub, we had to start prioritizing. Apart from that, just want to say again how amazing it is to see so many people using and loving MemPalace! What inspired the idea of MemPalace is that I realized after months of meticulous filing, AI is just not great at finding things, even if you keep the best files. Every system out there still has it using keywords to search through and that’s really clunky and messy in my opinion.In the end, your folder is like a huge warehouse and all those files are akin to a pile of junk with dates and names on it, so you’re still having to do these archaic word searches across thousands of documents and in the end, probably not even finding exactly what you were looking for.Which gave me an idea. I wanted to create a new way to make filing and retrieving more intuitive. I had read a lot about how Ancient Greeks memorized long speeches and how the most famous memory masters are able to remember up to 70k decimal places of the number Pi. I felt like we should be able to give AI the ability to remember information in a more “organic” way.And how this was achieved was through what experts call a “Memory Palace”. Ben and I discussed it and thought “Why not create a virtual Memory Palace?”I mean at that point anything would be better than a warehouse full of junk.I came up with the architecture which is fairly logical: splitting the big, open space into different rooms. This took me months of making many mistakes and starting from scratch (and with almost 1k docs, I’m sure anyone can relate how frustrating it got), but in the end, it was worth it. Because out of all that research and various blueprints that didn’t work, I finally managed to create the architecture and Ben engineered and “fine tuned”, that brought our “MemPalace” to life. Wow! After one of the toughest shoots of my life filming @protectorthemovie not only as an actress, but as my first full role as a producer, helping rewrite this beautiful script to really focus it on the difficult subject matter, a whole year of editing, helping score with the the multi talented Don Cherel and his team @dcp.productions. Working endlessly to mix the sound, color grade and just multiple passes at bringing the best out of the material with the help of our amazing team, we locked the picture less than two months ago and in a blink, here we all were, celebrating the premiere! Happiest 6th journey around the sun to my youngest daughter Osian! Our diamond girl, shiny and unbreakable! Loving yet strong, smart, yet humble, hilarious but also able to ask the right questions to lead to so many different answers about this crazy sparkle of life we’re given. Osian is a true gift, our rainbow baby, the one no one expected and still, to this day we never know what to expect! She is kind to others, a protector and a little mama to her friends at school, she’s a total diva, doing at least 3 costume changes a day and let’s not even begin to talk about her favorite pink sequence cowboy boots!🙌 We love you so much Osian and are so grateful that you decided to join our family tribe from whatever galaxy you came from!! Keep on growing and asking questions and falling down and making mistakes and realizing that some of those mistakes may lead you to the greatest discoveries of your life! The big 5 OH!! Wow, what an incredible journey it’s been. I feel like I’ve lived so many different lives over the last 50 years! So many eras come and gone, so many iterations of myself and still iterating lol! I’m a SO GRATEFUL for the good, the bad and everything in between. The explosions and the moments of stillness, the extraordinary and the mundane. Each has its own magic. Thank god I have my family, my tribe, the one I was born into and the one I’ve created and chosen along the way. You all know who you are. I’m so interested in what the door to this decade opens into! I’ve changed so much over the the years and the one thing I know is that there is always something new to learn, something interesting to explore and the power to pivot and change is what keeps the creative fire burning!! I couldn’t ask for more. The most wonderful husband, the most incredible kids that teach me how to be a better human everyday. A career that’s constantly leading me to explore different avenues and forms of expression… a fan base that’s always supported me through every crazy choice I’ve made! Thank you thank you thank you god, thank you universe, thank you parents, thank you family, thank you friends, thank you for loving me, for being patient with me, for knowing that I’m all or nothing and still being there through it all.
