Pic 1 – Been experimenting with editorial, wide lens renders – loving this @glossier packaging

Pic 2 – I used a point light to mimic flash photography

👩🏻‍💻 first post made with #c4d #redshift

A few things I’ve learned coming from Blender:

1. It will be frustrating to convert from one 3D software to another, as the interface is different and you’ll need to learn new ways to create something that felt like second nature to you.

2. I recommend starting slow. Figure out the basics first and remember how long it took you to get where you are now with the software you’re comfortable with.

3. I personally still prefer modeling in Blender, but my first impression is that animating is easier in C4D.

4. Blender is open source – meaning it’s free, but if you’re in school, you can get a free 1 year Cinema 4D license before you invest in a commercial license.

5. There’s tons of material and assets for both softwares online, lmk if you think about starting and need help or have any questions. Adios🫶
