Last year, the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs told the world that 14,000 babies in Gaza would die within 48 hours, a claim that was not supported or backed by anything factual.

It was false, dangerous and profoundly irresponsible. The following evening, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, the lives of two beautiful souls just beginning a life together, were taken away outside the Capital Jewish Museum. 🕯️💔

There are no diplomatic agreements between Saudi Arabia and Israel, and little precedent for this developing story. So, while the Israeli Air Force awaits the necessary approval to repatriate 180 flydubai passengers whose plane was rerouted for an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia after an Omani co-pilot tried to hijack it, averting a disaster of monumental proportions, Israeli passengers say they are being well taken care of in Saudi. 🇸🇦🙏❤️‍🩹

Worth noting that the Indian pilot 🇮🇳 who was stabbed reportedly survived thanks to the immediate intervention of an Israeli passenger 🇮🇱 who is a dentist, and it appears that he was badly injured! Praying for him.🥲 This Indian pilot is a hero, and I suspect the Omani terrorist is an IRGC agent and a traitor. That is not confirmed, but I think this incident has clear IRGC fingerprints all over it:

1-Israeli security institutions have reportedly confirmed that the hijacker wanted to crash the plane ✈️ (9/11 style) into a building, although we still don’t know which building or where. Some say Tel Aviv, but I suspect elsewhere, because why would the attack begin long before the plane even got close to Israel?
2-The IRGC’s planes can’t fly, no Iranian planes can, after the UAE, Oman and Iraq honored President Trump’s ask to ban Iranian flights from using regional airspace. Because they believe it’s their way or the highway, so in other words, terrorism.
3-Oman unfortunately pretty much sided with Iran, or at the very least covered for it, during the recent Gulf war with Iran, raising the question of whether even the Omani leadership may be captured by the IRGC. Let’s not forget the Omani foreign minister’s op-ed during the war. Are you okay, Oman? Blink twice if you need help, and we can send some beepers.💪
4-And, of course, we may now be starting to see why a critically urgent meeting between Bibi, the head of the Mossad and regional leadership about an imminent threat was necessary on Sunday. The next couple of weeks will be eventful to say the least.

@emmanuelmacron lied about Hamas in the West Bank. I do not believe the claims about mistranslation are true because the impact of his words will not go away just because other diplomats tried to clarify them later. And whether he meant that Hamas was never active or never governed the West Bank is irrelevant when the goal is the same: to undermine Israeli security. by @millennialmoor

The people’s forum is calling for a mass protest against Netanyahu who will be speaking at the United Nations on September 24th. What the people’s forum doesn’t call for is a mass protest against an actual war criminal who has gassed and starved his own people and is literally sanctioned by the United States. Why you ask? Well because the people’s forum and the United Nations appear to have one or rather three objectives in common: normalize terrorism, distract from real criminals and put pressure on the only forces and leaders fighting terror. by @millennialmoor

Elevating relations with Israel at the United Nations: the very institution so often used to manufacture anti-Zionist legitimacy, is not just another diplomatic move. It signals deeper institutional cooperation and a shared commitment to what I call Abrahamic narrative security.

The timing matters. Algeria has just severed ties with the UAE, another Abraham Accords country, over its support for Moroccan sovereignty in the Sahara. Spain- under antisemitic Sanchez- is also threatening visibly and institutionally Moroccan sovereignty with a new bill that just approved a new bill giving Spanish citizenship to Moroccan Sahrawis born in the Southern provinces during the Spanish occupation.

So to reiterate, those who stand for peace, regional integration and the Abraham Accords also stand for Morocco’s sovereignty. Those working against it increasingly align with a transnational Islamist project that seeks to erode borders, destabilize nation-states and turn conspiratorial antisemitism into political power.

Morocco is essentially saying to antisemitic Tebboune and Sanchez: keep your propaganda. We are focused on confronting real threats.

But Moroccans -and allies- should expect the narrative jihadists to intensify their attacks in the coming months especially since elections are coming up in Morocco (this month) Israel (next month) and the midterms in the U.S.🇲🇦🇮🇱

6 Years After the Abraham Accords, the most urgent question we must ask ourselves is how do we protect the only framework enabling real denazification in the region? This is what keeps me up at night because there will be no peace with extremists and if the moderates are pushed out/ silenced/ intimidated and isolated, the extremists will win. And we can’t let them. We won’t let them. Not without a real fight! 💪 We must never accept a state or an individual or an elected official who normalizes antisemitism or anti-Zionism because that’s how they push out the moderates and that’s how they destroy society and liberal values from within. by @millennialmoor

My grandfather’s sister lost her life in the Rif in the 1920s, in the shadow of Spain’s use of chemical weapons against the people of northern Morocco.

This history lives in my bones and, uncomfortably, in my chest. The use of chemical weapons against indigenous populations is a common colonial tactic to silence and erase us.

Thats why I answered the call to meet with Sudanese victims who have lived through mass atrocities, chemical weapons use, and the brutality of Islamist networks fighting to preserve their interests and to guarantee their survival in the region.

Turkey arrived in Somalia allegedly as a friend. Today, Turkish interests stretch across its oil, ports, airport, fisheries and military infrastructure.

The 2024 oil deal allows Turkey to recover up to 90% of production as “cost petroleum.” Turkish firms have operated Mogadishu’s port and airport for more than a decade controlling what goes in and out of the country. Turkey runs its largest overseas military base there. And now a venture backed by the Turkish Armed Forces’ pension fund has been granted extraordinary power over Somalia’s fisheries.

Any one of these deals alone could be called diplomatic and economic cooperation. Put them together, and the picture changes drastically.

The result? Somalia has slowly handed enormous leverage over its resources and infrastructure to the country currently exhibiting blatant neo-imperialism. Aid became access. Access became state capture.
