If you’re new here, what up! I’m Justin Cutler, a 90s kid that loves showing people how movement can absolutely fit their real lives in an enjoyable and sustainable way.

I know the people in my program experience this every week.

My goal with all my social media channels is to help you learn the same thing!

Special shout out to my “Project Manager”, my drop dead gorgeous wife @kosherh for originally coining the “Millennial Sports Dropout” name 😎 taken in Reno, Nevada by @millennialsportsdropout

I look at exercise like medication; there’s a certain dosage for everybody and you can overdo it.

Whereas daily movement is like drinking water; you technically can overdo it, but it would take a lot..and you probably need more than you’re currently drinking 😅

Hope this perspective shift helps you as much as it has for me! by @millennialsportsdropout

This trip for the girls’ birthday was absolutely incredible. We walked on a bunch of different beaches, had delicious food and coffee, and got to see @brunomars !!!

Special shoutouts to my brother in law for basically planning the whole thing and the grandparents for coming in clutch and taking the kids! by @millennialsportsdropout

How we look is a reflection of our daily choices in either direction.

Change the daily choices —> change the look

But when changing the looks are the primary motivator, I’ve seen time again shortcuts are taken.

And despite achieving a better “look”, the person’s health is really not much better. They’re not much of a better mover despite looking better.

It took me a long time to trust that if I focus on changing my daily choices, on a long enough timeline, the body WILL follow.

I’m glad I was right because despite alllll the ups and downs, maintaining my body has never felt more doable. by @millennialsportsdropout

This definition flips the script and takes your focus off of falling off track and simply onto getting back on sooner.

this may seem like a weird or unnecessary perspective, but it has helped me a ton. by @millennialsportsdropout

A newer member of mine strained his hamstring on the golf course recently. I made this for him and figured there’s probably someone else out there that can benefit!

Be sure to read the description of the video in the comments for some rules of thumb that have served well over the years when rehabbing an injury. by @millennialsportsdropout

Before the peptides and mobility hacks…

…you might just need to stop trying to lift so flippin heavily every single workout. by @millennialsportsdropout

Tools are great to have. But a mistake I used to make was thinking I needed all these fancy tools in order to build my body.

I have learned quite the opposite is true. Tools are a luxury, not a necessity.

I got a great session in at a local park today using a basketball court and a set of monkey bars.

I’m not talking badly about equipment. I believe it has its place.

But learning how to use my own body as the main tool has opened up a whole new world of movement possibilities, making it so much easier to stay consistent. by @millennialsportsdropout

As they say, if you can’t grip it, you can’t lift it.

Hanging is wildly uncomfortable in the beginning, but extremely effective in building elite grip and shoulder strength.

Look up Dr. John Kirsch’s study he did on the effects of hanging. Potent stuff!

Start where you’re at, follow these progressions, give them the time they deserve to develop, and watch your upper body strength and mobility explode.

You can put these into your warm up, cool down, accessory work, or just as a movement snack throughout your day (which is why I believe everyone should own a pull up bar) by @millennialsportsdropout
