Today marks 12 years of living with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome!

This is the message I shared with fellow CRPS warriors at RSDSA’s 2025 National Conference — for years, I fell victim to my pain, but through sharing my story, I found strength.

5 years ago this was just an idea… this year, Walk Strong raised $48,000!!!

I’m so grateful for every single person who showed up, donated, sponsored, and believed in this mission. Seeing this community come together in Dallas, Texas means more than I can put into words. 🧡👟

This year, your impact goes even further — supporting the Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome Association (RSDSA) and the Pediatric Pain Management Center at Children’s Health. Because of you, families facing CRPS and chronic pain will have greater access to care, critical research, and the support they need to keep going.

I had such a great time speaking with the high school dance officers at @danceadts this week about leadership, relationships, and the responsibility that comes with setting the standard for your team.

We talked about lessons I’ve learned through living with CRPS, serving as Captain of the Kilgore Rangerettes, and why leadership isn’t about doing everything yourself — it’s about building trust, creating connection, and bringing out the best in the people around you.

Years from now, these officers probably won’t remember every dance routine, but they will remember the relationships they built and the people who stood beside them along the way.
