lil’ me would be proud of us

stoked on how these are coming out, thanks to the incredible craftsmanship and leadership from the boys over at Indivisible Hardwoods in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Let this be their sign to get on the instagrams and show their work off some more.

live edge eucalyptus slabs w/ led accents and salvage-wood fireplace mantle.

Timeless.

From rough stock lumber to a lift-top & drawer storage coffee table out of Black Walnut and White Oak, this one took real hours.

there was far more gained from those hours than a simple caption could possibly expand upon but;

I will say this project undeniably made me a far more patient, and humble carpenter. Quality doesn’t allow for any kind of time-savers, or short cuts. And so many of my bad habits died along the way while finishing this client’s order, for the better.

Confidence is only ever EARNED. Anyone can call themselves a finish carpenter, but the 10,000 hours required will forever speak for themselves, and will always be demonstrated in the workmanship.

I’m quite a few steps closer to my own 10,000 hours now, and cannot wait for the opportunity to build my next client’s custom piece. DM for any inquiries ❤️

Stop listening to literally anyone telling you to do something you don’t love.

Stop doubting in your ability to build your own company.

Construction, not sugar coating - It is NOT for everyone,

but success? Your dream life? it can happen for anyone who fully dedicates themself, to themselves, and to those that have always been there for them. Family.

leading this office addition project as co-GC and watching it come to life was an experience I would never trade for the world. Growth is not linear.

above all, if I know nothing else: you only EVER fail when you give up.

level up ✅

Remediation:

This type of work in construction is:

tedious? brutally.

High-stakes? undoubtedly.

frustrating? beyond measure.

The reward of being able to give you back your home, however, is why it is SO worth it.

we know how uprooting storm / water / fire damage can be. Not a single thing can compare to the head ache that this type of accident brings to everyone living under the affected roof. It’s why we say yes to these jobs, no matter how much it might suck at times through out the process. Your home is your sanctuary, and there’s not a single thing we won’t do to make sure it’s just the way you had it; or better.

Call us today if you are dealing with this same problem. We are here for you! #carpentry #cabinetry #stormdamage #homerepairexperts #remediation taken in Scottsdale, Arizona by @millercustombuilds_llc

Well this took some time for sure. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast; and sanding sucks. #carpentry #cabinets #mudroom #cubbies #customcabinets taken in Scottsdale, Arizona by @millercustombuilds_llc

Maybe your house is missing windows and millwork entirely.

REDUCE!!!! REUSE!!!!! RECYCLEEEE!!!1!111!!!

Tidying up before cranking out the last bit of items left for the new workshop benches, that are now only just moments away from completion.
got distracted by some scraps for a second first though, and this happened.

Every different species of wood used for all of my now 3 different benches were used in the making of this soon-to-be cabinet door. Decided to use it for the scrap-bucket cabinet I added underneath the right-sided bench section closest to the mitre! (Cuz F**K all yall wrong, righty-handed, normies that’s why😘)

Will be posting the finished products soon. Only a few days away from taking new commissions!!! Feel free to reach out with any desired furniture, cabinetry, finish-trim projects, or any other woodworking-related inquiries you’d be interested in getting pricing on starting now.

we bouta hit em with that good ol’ fashioned timber MAGIC(:
