reflecting on my time in Costa Rica with @retreat.maia this past march. retreats are an incredible way to be able to escape your day to day life to be able to connect with yourself. by creating distance from your daily routine it allows you to be able to see yourself and life more clearly and through a different light. @protopia_community was in my opinion the most ideal place to do this. the highlights of the retreat for me were connecting with such warm people, the incredible nourishing (and beautiful!) food prepared for us every day, the cacao ceremony and ecstatic dance, tubing in the Rio Celeste, daily yoga in the Shala and surprisingly the ride back to the airport which included practicing my Spanish and jamming to the radio with @ashleymariaangel and our absolute gem of a driver. it would not be an understatement to say this retreat was life changing. @madisa.wav and @leahmudi couldn’t be better equipped for hosting retreats and i strongly recommend anyone going on one with them at some point!!🫶 taken in Protopia Community by @millerflylife_

2 years no alcohol today🤠 most days it’s easy. sometimes i romanticize the idea of drinking and feel a little left out. some days i can’t get out of my head and crave alcohol induced oblivion. every day i know this is the best way for me to live and know there is no other option. anyway here’s a bunch of pics of yummy non alcoholic drinks ive enjoyed on vacation! (i brought a whole bottle of NA Aperol from @openroadbarpgh in my suitcase lol) by @millerflylife_

2/8/22 i came to a show at Mr Smalls and told a cute guy standing next to me that i liked his Mac Miller hoodie. exactly 4 years later here we are at the same place with a lifetime of dancing ahead of us. thanks for the lovely show @pigeonsplaying and the best 4 years of knowing ya @roman_vuk taken in Mr. Smalls Theatre by @millerflylife_
