I am incredibly emotional today…I’m emotional about the stories of death, survival and perseverance. I’m incredibly emotional because for one moment, this country was a “we”…an “us”…color didn’t matter. Religion didn’t matter. Gender didn’t matter. Class didn’t matter. All that mattered was humanity. We opened our front doors for neighbors in need. We showed up for each other without question. And I hurt for having experienced that for a short period of time to have it ripped away by hate and intolerance. I’ll spend the day mourning for the country and people we have shown we have the capacity to be but refuse to do so. To every family affected today, I love you…I see you…I remember you ❤️ by @millie1913

Last week Alex (2nd from the top) competed at the USA Swim Toyota National Championship in Irvine, CA. A senior level meet with the fastest 18U, collegiate and pro swimmers in the country. He achieved 4 out of 5 new personal best times, an incredible accomplishment. So many lessons learned that he will take into next season as he prepares to swim collegiate in Fall 2027. As a competitor the lessons learned from losses are more valuable than the lessons in wins. And while 4 out of 5 new personal best is far from a loss, he has a renewed champion spirit. Time to rest, reset, plan and strategize for next season. Watch as this story continues to be written! Love you Kid! ❤️🏊🏾‍♂️💪🏾 @alexgoodman._ @jersey_wahoos @ugaswimdive by @millie1913
