Part ✌️!

I was presented the opportunity to serve others in a different way, this was in the kitchen as a kitchie! Some of the hardest moments in this brought me the most joy. I was able to understand that when I’m at my best, I can quickly be swept into exhaustion and face challenges I’m not familiar with. Some of these things I thought I could handle on my own, and gradually I began to realize that’s not how i was made! In 1 Peter 4, we can see how Jesus was able to walk through the hardships and temptations of every worldly thing, yet none of them could reach him. He was sent to die for us, so that we can walk with him in our everyday lives, in the hardships and in the cherished moments. The people I got to know saw me in my best and worst moments, and they were my friends through it all. They mourned and rejoiced with me again and again! There is so much more I could praise the Lord for, so if you want to hear, ask! Like I said before, I am so lucky to have a place and people that make goodbyes so hard. But that just means the summer was done well! I can’t wait to be back again K2! by @milliehayles

Another summer at the best place ever! 🤸‍♀️😆🫧

Part 1 as a counselor! What a gift it was to be able to serve, mentor, and have so much fun with my campers for four weeks. And to top that off, I got to do it with my best, most loyal friend, AC! Not only did we get to do everything together, but we were able to learn what is was like to serve the Lord together. Through this, I was able to learn so much about the Lord and my relationship with him. I don’t think I could’ve been more blessed with AC as my co. Serving the Lord is so much fun, especially when you get to do it with your best friend! Until next summer, kanakuk!
