BARBA ✂️

Wet and windy one for this clean & vibrant shop front but I LOVE the result 😍

So lovely to catch up with the Barba boys!
One more visit next week for a final coat to make the letters really sing!

RESTORATION 🎨

Late last year I was asked if I would be willing to help on a project restoring art work in a church. This was something I had never done before so although I was excited to start I was also full of apprehension, including laying awake at night worrying I’d fall off the scaffolding 🫣

The art work we were working on was in different states of disrepair; different ages, some parts had been repaired before and some totally removed due to damage.

Our goal was to keep as much original work as possible whilst ensuring the repair work blended in in terms of design and colour. While this was straight forward for small repairs, for whole panels that had been replaced I created digital traces from which stencils were made- from here we were able to keep the designs as close to the original as possible

I had a fantastic mentor and teacher throughout the project who I hope to work with again soon.
I had so much fun on this project and took so much away with me, by far my favourite project to date ✨

Here are some before and after… more to follow! 🥰

Autumn Gold 🍂✨

A windy but beautiful day hand painting this sign for @fikaandfell in Ulverston.

The gold paint was a first for me but I’m in love with it against the green!😍

Can’t wait to return this week to complete the other side.

If you’re after a gorgeously scented hand poured candle or home fragrances, I implore you to head over to this place! 🤤😍

I’ve been awful at posting projects recently! 🫣

Here is one of my favourites to round out the summer 😍

A gorgeous addition to @rinscoffee for their upstairs tasting and training room ☕️

I had the best time with this one, the font, the colour, the location, the team 🧡 and of course- the coffee!
Everyone at @rinscoffee made me feel so so welcome I didn’t want to leave 🤣

A special thanks to @scaffoldingmadesimple for hooking us up with some scaffold cut to size for our tight squeeze stair case- you guys are the best!

July and August have been so busy I can’t wait to share it all with you! 🥰

Please reach out if you have any up coming projects you want brought to life ✨
