Recently I had the pleasure to realize a flyer for an event about the italian writer Carlo Fruttero and his career..next friday at the joyce lussu library in rome

the first image is the official version, the second image was a different concept for for the composition

recentemente ho avuto il piacere di realizzare una locandina per un evento inerente lo scrittore Carlo Fruttero e la sua carriera...venerdì prossimo alla biblioteca Joyce Lussu di Roma

and yes I know these very unnatural fishes but I enjoyed how the shape of the stain and the leaf adapted into something grotesque and deformed even though still resembling normal animal.......in a way

also I wanted something aquatic to say goodbye to yet another summer

I had this picture in a folder of a strange shape on the ground that looked like a strange hybrid between a cat and a worm or larvae..........after the creature was complete I could not pick a background......so in the end I got angry and for revenge I decided to trap the Catworm in a glass vial for all eternity....MWAHAHAHAHAH by @millottifede

a few days ago i was taking a stroll through the park when I noticed a peculiar tree.....the shapes on its bark reminded me of something.......was not certain if fishes or spaceships but in the end I opted for the latter

the other day I went for a walk till I saw the weirdest bird poop ever that gave the idea for this weird gross concept that, ironically, is some sort of bird creature....mutant....I dunno I just wanted this freak out of my head..........................................also if you think it looks "shitty" you are right in more ways than one I suppose

my entry for the contest "L' attesa" (The waiting) proposed by VillaLaisLegge a festival in rome, all about writers, indipendent pubblishing and illustrators.......this year the theme was the act to wait ...........I guess I have always had this mental image of waiting as like being in an egg, grounded by some type of barrier or limit until your moment to emerge or exit arrives and you can enter a different phase and see something new.
