Started at Mississippi State with dreams, doubts, prayers, and purpose… and now I’m walking away with memories, milestones, and a sisterhood that changed my life forever.

Through every challenge, every lesson, every victory, God continued to order my steps. Mississippi State gave me experiences I’ll carry for a lifetime, but Delta gave me a home within the journey.

To Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.:
Thank you for giving me a space to lead, serve, grow, and love deeply. Thank you for the bond of sisterhood, the legacy of excellence, and the reminder that being a Delta means walking with purpose, grace, and strength. Carrying these letters is something I will never take lightly.

To the Nu Beta Chapter:
Nu Beta, thank you for shaping some of the most unforgettable moments of my college experience. From the laughs to the work behind the scenes, the events, the service, and the lifelong friendships; you all became family. I’ll forever be grateful for every memory and every person who poured into me.

To the 63 D.E.G.R.E.E.S.:
We laughed together, cried together, stressed together, prayed together, and crossed every finish line side by side. The bond we built is bigger than college and bigger than time. Nobody can tell our story the way we lived it.

To those who have always had by back through thick and thin. Never forgetting where it began. It started here and it ends here #llnte

"So let it grow, for when your endurance is fully developed , you will be perfect and complete, needing nothing" James 1:4

" I'll say it's worth it I won't say it's fair. Find your purpose or u wasting air, forget it though y'all 🥷🏾 scared " - 🏁

On May 15, I, Jaden Rey' General Joiner will be graduating from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of business administration focused in Business Information Systems. God kept me, my village supported me, & MSU provided me a foundation. Thank you to everyone who has been with me on this marathon🏁

First, I will give honor to the Man Upstairs🙏🏾. I’ve had many ups and downs during the years of achieving this degree, but I’m grateful for both the good and bad lessons learned. Thanks to all my family, friends, and brothers who supported me on this journey❤️. On to the next chapter of my life. #TD²⚡️⚡️ by @millscreationsss

From coming in with a vision… to conquering every challenge that tried to stand in the way, this chapter is officially complete.

This journey gave me more than a degree. It gave me lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and spaces that shaped me into who I am today:
* Montgomery Leadership Program
* IDEAL Woman
* Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
* Famous Maroon Band
* LeaderSTATE
* AOS Student Worker
* Day One Leadership
* National Association of Black Veterinarians
* Black Student Association

There were long days, hard moments, and times I didn’t know how I was going to make it, but I did. Not just by getting through it, but by rising through it.

I came. I grew. I conquered.

And now… I’m stepping into my next chapter with purpose, passion, and everything this journey has given me.

This isn’t the end, this is the beginning. 🎓✨ taken in Mississippi State University by @millscreationsss

“STAR-STUDDED”

Over the years at Mississippi State University, I have truly dedicated myself to my craft while building the entrepreneurial skills necessary to succeed in such a merciless industry. I have consistently put my best foot forward with poise, passion, and practicality. Through this focus and drive, I have achieved many accomplishments throughout my college career.

🟣 2023- 2024 MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT CHOICE PHOTOGRAPHER & VIDEOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR
🟣 BEST IN SHOW: PHOTOGRAPHY 53RD ANNUAL MISSISSIPPI STATE STUDENT JURIED EXHIBITION
🟣 OFFICIAL PUBLISHING IN “11 SIMPLE RULES TO CREATE THRIVING COMMUNITIES FOR CHILDREN BYJUDY JABLON AND NICHOLE PARKS
🟣 BEST IN SHOW: PHOTOGRAPHY 2026 AIGA GLITCH COMPETITION
🟣 BEST IN SHOW: PHOTOGRAPHY 54TH ANNUAL MISSISSIPPI STATE STUDENT JURIED EXHIBITION
🟣 2026 MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT CHOICE VIDEOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR
🟣 C-SPIRE CREATIVE MARKETING INTERNSHIP

These achievements put me in another lane pursuing my BFA. I have shown that the path is narrow but it is possible to reach the summit. I hope I can continue to inspire other black artists to take risks to follow their hearts and stay creative.

First and foremost, I thank God for leading me to Mississippi State University and blessing me with the opportunity to earn my bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology. I am extremely grateful for the people who supported me, encouraged me, and helped make this journey easier.

To the brothers of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., especially the brothers of TD², thank you for the bond, wisdom, and brotherhood you’ve shared with me throughout this journey. The unforgettable memories we’ve shared are something I will always cherish. I’m forever grateful to every brother who supported me, challenged me, and stood beside me throughout this journey.
