🐾🕯️ Always loved. Always welcome home. Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican tradition celebrated on November 1–2 that honors loved ones who have passed. Families create ofrendas—altars filled with photographs, flowers, favorite foods, and meaningful keepsakes—to welcome their spirits and keep their memories alive. In a growing tradition, October 27 is dedicated to beloved pets, with the belief that their spirits return to visit the families who still hold them close. A favorite toy, a familiar treat, a photograph… small reminders of a love that never really leaves us. Here at ARF, we remember the paws that once followed us from room to room, the comforting purrs, and the faces we still look for when we open the door. They were family. They always will be. 🤍 🌼 Help us fill our digital ofrenda with their love. Share a photo of your pet who has passed in the comments, along with their name and a favorite memory. Let’s say their names, share their stories, and remember them together. 🐾 by @milly_arf
