Raising the last bit of money needed to make this short documentary ❣️ Link in bio if you want to know more or feel like sharing or supporting.

@duttybax came to me with this project a few months ago, and after some funding ups and downs, we’ve launched an IndieGoGo campaign. I think Nathan has a gift for making people feel seen and heard – it shines through in his films, and I can’t wait to work with him on this.
We’ve already had initial conversations with some incredible contributors, and I can’t wait to talk to them more, hear their stories, and bring their voices to the film. We didn’t expect so many people to feel connected to this subject, and the encouragement has been amazing ❣️

Aaaand my second album MOOCH is out.

@dannyjer.om and I spent many happy hours making this in his studio last year. Love to everyone who played on it @xav_xav_xav @tal.janes @j__costi @susieblankfield and Adam Bosner

Mooch is a word that’s followed me a while. It was the name of a pet, then the name of my first band and then became my password for most things. I called the folder of demos on my desktop Mooch for ease but then it stuck.

The album turned out to be about escaping. I didn’t actually realise that until just a few days ago. The songs have a theme 🏃‍♀️ & then I’m running out of the shot @fredborghesi took for the cover too.

So here is Mooch which you’d think’d be about mooching but is really about running.

My fave track is the last one called Go Home, enjoyyy x by @millyupton_

Another song for you🧴🫶 inspired by my love of sun cream regardless of the season or the hour.

Beyond that though .. it’s a testament to the power of ritual and routine in hard times. It’s about finding solace in the familiar and treasuring the simple, attainable moments.

Stream everywhere now, album to follow soon… by @millyupton_
