back in april i got a beautiful commission done by @aluvsblu 💛✨

it’s rose tyler (specifically ari’s bad wolf au) with the fifteenth doctor. rose has had a special place in my heart since i was kid and it was a delight to use my adult money to treat us both

big thank you to ari for the incredible art <3

ive been in a MAJOR art slump, but made a few things for my local encampment last month! one for the barricade and one for the library tent about a fun night we had <3 it was fun to see it go from a couple figures holding hands to a little recreation of the party hours prior by @milos.mess

(july 2023)
this is jim from memphis, tn!!

i all of a sudden have the motivation to share my (ginormous) backlog of doodles, so you can see people like this! when killing some time while my friends was at work, my friend and i were sitting next to a fellow artist, named jim. we talked the entire meal, and passed all three of our sketchbooks around <3

where you are, jim, i hope you’re well!! by @milos.mess

i have once again started to pray (2023)

most of the art i make these days comes in the form of photos - particularly ones from my community. i have been honored to be welcomed as a photographer for the people’s collective fight for liberation here in cleveland. i have made friends with people of all ages i would have never known otherwise, while also capturing and preserving our movement here in this particular place. we are living history & its a true honor to take my camera to our events*

*aside from two protests, we receive zero media coverage. we know damn well how news media like to act like this all doesnt exist - i have yet to see another camera (other than cellphones) at any of our events.

WHERE are other local photographers? 🤨 the people protesting deserve to do just that, while knowing their movement is being preserved & able to share afterwards. it should be bare minimum that we offer up our services to such organizations, free of charge. you dont have to be at every single one, but not going to a SINGLE one?

it’s important to remember these fights arent all or nothing - go when and where you can - its so much better than not going at all. we have new comers every single week at city hall, for seventeen weeks counting <3 i missed this weeks due to health, but i know there were others there for their very first time. & it was the meeting where our city finally passed a call for a ceasefire! …………..after 17 weeks……… so yeah! we’ll be back again the next weeks, as there’s much more to fight for.

if you have not already, please join us - either here or where you are. being moved and helping a movement are two different things - join the movement by @milos.mess

THESE! ARE! MADE! WITH! JUST! ROCKS!!!

last year i took a couple trips to the beach, where i would grab rocks, get them wet, and make paint with them on another rock, and paint them on yet ANOTHER rock.

the first one is mine, and the second is one i gave my friend ken! i made it while we were at the beach together <3 he keeps it right by his door & it makes me smile every time i go over to his place <3 <3 <3
