Creating a little neon glow effect ✨🌈

For this page, I tried something a bit outside my comfort zone: bright colors, a yellow glow, and matching gel pens to soften the black outlines.

I started with the yellow where the light would hit, then slowly added the colors one by one while the ink was still wet. The final touch was covering the outlines with matching colored gel pens to make everything feel even more magical.

I’m still learning as I go, but I really enjoyed trying this technique and seeing the page come to life step by step 🥰

Would you try this neon glow effect in one of your coloring pages?

Feel free to save this for later if it’s helpful to you🩵

A little window coloring tutorial🪟✨

Here’s how I like to color windows in 4 easy steps: a base color, a few diagonal shadow strokes, a thin white gel pen line along the inner window frame and soft reflection lines to make the glass feel a little more realistic.

And yes… I even drew the reflection lines over the bread. A tiny act of coloring bravery 😅😂

It’s such a small detail, but I love how it can make a coloring page feel more finished and cozy🥰

Feel free to save this for later if you’d like to try it on your own coloring pages 🩵

Do you like adding extra details like reflections and highlights or do you usually keep windows simple? 👀

✨️ Work in Progress...Getting into the Halloween spirit with this colorful little page from 'Patchwork Magic' by @daisypop.coloring … 🎃✨

I went for a bright, playful palette for this one, because spooky season doesn’t always have to be dark and moody. 🌈👻

Still a WIP… final reveal coming soon! 🫶

I kept this palette dark and simple, then let that eerie green do all the glowing. The mix of smoky grays, deep shadows and bright neon greens gave this page exactly the spooky little atmosphere I was hoping for. ✨

Swipe through for the Ohuhu codes + HEX codes I used.

If you try this palette, I’d love to see your version — feel free to tag me so I can have a little peek. 😍🫶

This coloring page turned into a tiny haunted midnight adventure… 🌙👻

I wanted the whole scene to feel dark and mysterious, with just enough ghostly green glow to make everything look a little magical and spooky. 💚

I think the glowing horse might be my favorite part. 🤩✨

I’ve been playing around with different ways to add a little more softness and texture to my characters… and this fluffy fur effect has quickly become one of my favorites. 😍✨

In this tutorial, I’m showing you the process step by step, using alcohol markers and white gel pen to slowly build up the texture and depth.

I first learned this fluffy fur technique from @apicturedpurpose on YouTube, and I’ve been loving using it in my own coloring ever since. 💕

Save this one for your next cozy coloring session... and if you try it, I’d love to see how your fluffy little character turns out. Feel free to tag me so I can have a little peek. 🫶

Quiet autumn evenings might be my favorite kind of cozy… 🍂✨

For this page, I wanted that tucked-in feeling of a warm room while the night settles in outside — deep blues, warm autumn tones and one very comfy little companion.🐱💕

The colors behind my Rainy Vineyard page… ☔🍇✨

These are the Ohuhu colors I used to bring this page together, plus matching HEX codes if you’d like to recreate the palette digitally. 🎨

Deep berry tones, rainy blues, earthy greens and a little warm yellow contrast made this such a fun palette to work with.

💜 If you use this palette, I’d love to see your version. Feel free to tag me so I can have a little peek.😍
