aa can i just say this,,,ughh i’m so proud of this piece 😣🤍i believe i started the sketch back in mid april, but took my time with it & would back to it whenever i felt inspired to.

i think often it’s easy to take a faster route & opt for art styles that require less time and effort to post or have a final result, but i need to remember that everytime i allow myself to take time with a piece i end up loving it sm and being accomplished feels quite sweeter ˚✧₊⁎aaaa im yapping⁎⁺˳✧༚

anyway i hope you enjoy this piece as much i did 🤍🤍🤍 taken in بلدي by @mils.field

quick portrait & digital painting study ヾ(๑╹◡╹)ﾉ"

☆〜（ゝ。∂）swipe for process!

especially with digital painting a portrait i tend to delay starting bc the action feels overwhelming in terms of steps, but as most cases prove that the process is what i enjoy about getting into painting & trying to experiment with colour choices ♡ by @mils.field

🦋🥥⭐️🥕🌀🍇

a little sketch i did a while ago of a lovely creative cool person c:
sometimes i look at my feed and worry i spread too many colours around, that its too bright and too loud and messy, but i never really think of how my feed would look when i actually sit down to make anything, i just choose colours based on how i feel or what seems fitting to the drawing in hand.

in another topic,, i hope this year i create much more! i dont want my perfection turns to be an engine for procrastination and forgotten artworks,, i want to not dread creating or worry who my art reaches, i crave the freedom that came with drawing solely to fill a random notebook when i was a kid…i wonder how many others feel the same way,,

anyways, with loads of love,,
mils 🌟

حبيبــــي فنـــك 🪩🪅💙🌟🍊

done this for a poster design project months months ago （╹◡╹） habibi funk was a revolutionary music discovery era, not only did it encapsulate the fun and whimsy of funk music, but also made me admire and appreciate arab artists & bands!

i tried to deliberately capture the فنــكي essence of the music.
if u listen to habibi funk, drop ur fav song/artists in the comments andddd if u don’t, u should definitely discover it !! by @mils.field
