Full circle moment last March in Bali, spending 4 days with Gus Ade, filming his part for his sponsor @visslasurf @vissla_indonesia

4 years ago Gusde was just 9 when I first met him and we spent 2 weeks together, documenting his life. Was so nice to catch up and spend time together again, seeing him growing up and working on his dreams.

So back on February 2024 while we were shooting our Documentary “Resilient Souls” we went to this pool next to the slums for the kids to swim.

Being there capturing their excitement and all the different feelings that they were expressing while they were getting lost in their thoughts, felt so surreal to me.
I remember while I was there I was trying to imagine what they could possibly think about at that moment and I kept having this song on my mind, feeling like i was living in a music video from @theblazeprod

I chose some frames from that day and lined them up next to each other listening to this song on the background.

Hope u will feel something watching this ✌🏼 taken in Kampala, Uganda by @miltosdimas
