Searching for Ženjó Textural distortions visually echo the way our memories deform over time. Grounded in the idea that identity is shaped by lived experiences, the project questions the boundaries of selfhood in a reality constantly rewritten by subjective perception. by @milyytinaa

(1) Bachelor’s Work, 06.2026 The work explores memory, nostalgia, and the feeling of an unstable self through the experience of migration. Based on a personal photographic archive spanning from my life in Belarus to the present day, and fragments of voice recordings collected over several years. I transferred these materials by hand onto fabric, allowing the images to become fragmented, distorted, and partially erased. The imperfect nature of the process reflects the way memories fade, change, and reconstruct themselves over time. The work explores if we can speak of a stable sense of self if our memories are constantly transforming. My gratitude to @intermedia_fdu @mertavladimir @milan_mazur Thanks to @volkov.scvt for help by @milyytinaa
