POSTS STORIES REELS

$Always been a big fan of reading it, writing it has actually been so much more difficult. But I’m having fun with it so far! LOL 🖤 The Grace of a Demon Another little morsel, eat up my doves: “I know exactly what I’m doing,” I lied softly, leaning into the warmth of his hand—silently begging him to close the distance. “My terrible little liar.” For a fraction of a second, he cupped my jaw, his thumb tracing the line of my lower lip with a dizzying tenderness that made my breath catch. The world shrank to the beat of his heart under my fingertips and the dark promise in his eyes. #aspiringauthor #writing #bookstagram #wip #darkromance by @mimi.bird.author$

I make this post with such a heavy heart.

Content creation means nothing if we can’t have a safe place to create in. Meta’s policies are horrible, and I don’t condone or agree with them. AI does not belong in creative spaces, and should never be used to steal from people who have worked hard to make something with their own mind, body, and soul.

I will not be posting anything new within this 7 day black out, but I will remain actively in support of the people that can’t afford to do this.

Support artists.
Support writers.
Support human creatives.

GO VOTE.

This community I’m building, and the existing one I’m integrating into, means the world to me. I want you all to know how much I care about my fellow creatives, please hang in there 🫶✨

See you soon, little doves.
Much love,
-Mimi

To be fair, I did fill in a bunch of blank scenes that were missing, like <<add something here>> 😅

I also took the time to delete a bunch of filler words and corrected some sentence structures. I think the digital edits are done. I’m going to print her next and run through the manuscript… manually 🙂‍↕️

Wish me luck!

Shrimp mode is activated 🦐

Why would they make a laptop portable if you can’t take it and sit in weird places? I can’t be only one. 🤣

Okay for real, I have chronic back pain from herniated discs and sometimes these are the only (exaggerated) comfortable positions for me. I do a lot better when I sit at my desk, but the convenience of the couch or floor won’t escape me!

What’s the weirdest spot you’ve found yourself in?

It’s so hard to pick just one favorite, so if you have more than one please share!!

Post work got me wanting to read in bed instead of work more on edits today.

Poor Vessumpkin…

I did not think the carving lines through 😭 ended up biting off more than I could chew.

Still had fun though! That’s all that matters 🤣

I love video games 🎮

I’ve been really bummed out since the news about BioWare dropped. So I wanted to try to make a fun video game inspired reel.

What difficulty are you on?

And don’t worry this doesn’t have to just be writing related hahaha 🫶✨

I finally did it 🥹

After 10+ years from initially starting this passion project, I have a fully written first draft of my book.

I am so emotional and so grateful to the people who have supported and cheered me on. It’s been a lot of hard work. My brain and my hands have never been more fried hahahaha

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

And now… we edit! ✍️
