Feeling immense pride after facilitating a nationwide three days kids athletics workshop for our sports coordinators. The true highlight was seeing the pure joy on the kids’ faces. During the medal ceremony, handing each child their medal one by one, you could see their excitement shining through even the ones trying hard not to smile. Their little movements gave them away.

In that moment, I realized I wasn’t dreaming about being a coach anymore… I was one. 🥇✨

Grateful. Inspired. Ready for more. 💛💪 by @mimi4lifenj

3 years ago, I doubted if I was good enough to go D1 or if I could even handle being away from home. Now, 3 years later, I’m leaving Idaho with lifelong friends, incredible mentors, and accomplishments I never imagined. I’m proud to be a 5x gold champion, to have scored 68 points, to have my name in the record books in 3 events, to hold the school record in the weight throw, and to have made it to the NCAA 1st Round. None of this would’ve been possible without God, my parents, family, friends, the athletic trainers, counselor, nutritionist ,coaches, and teammates who supported me through it all. You helped shape the athlete and person that I am today. This road wasn’t easy. There were setbacks but those challenges taught me two powerful lessons: who I want to surround myself with and how to rebuild when you’ve hit rock bottom.

The track & field chapter isn’t done yet—I’m hungry for what comes next.
