💔 Als wäre es nicht schon genug.
Am Dienstag hat uns diese Nachricht von unserem Partner aus Gaza erreicht:
„Unser zweites Familiencamp wurde komplett zerstört. Alles ist niedergebrannt.“
Es bricht uns das Herz. 💔

Diese Menschen haben ihr Zuhause verloren. Jetzt steht ihnen ein heißer Sommer im Zelt bevor – mit zu wenig Wasser und Nahrung. Und dann brennt auch noch das Wenige nieder, das ihnen geblieben ist.

Wasser schützt nicht nur unmittelbar vor dem Verdursten und hilft die Ausbreitung von Krankheiten einzudämmen. Es wird auch gebraucht, um Brände zu löschen.

Denn die Waffenruhe in Gaza ist mehr als brüchig. Von unserem Team vor Ort hören wir immer wieder von Luftangriffen und Explosionen.

Wir sind wütend und verzweifelt. Aber wir versuchen, diese Gefühle in Tatkraft zu verwandeln: Wir stellen weiter Wasser bereit. Und wir bleiben im engen Kontakt mit unserem Team vor Ort.

Die nächsten Tage werden für viele von uns durch die Sommerhitze anstrengend. Für Geflüchtete, die in Zelten leben müssen, ist Hitze eine große zusätzliche Belastung.

Das gilt für die Menschen in den inoffiziellen Camps in Nordfrankreich ebenso wie für die Menschen in den griechischen Containercamps.

Und es gilt für die Menschen in Gaza. Zum Leben im Zelt kommt für sie auch noch der Mangel an Wasser. Dadurch wird die Hitze nicht nur unerträglich, sondern lebensbedrohlich.

💦Vor einem Jahr haben wir unser Wasserprojekt in Gaza gestartet! Seither verteilt unsere Partnerorganisation @lifeblood_foundation dank unserer Hilfe jede Woche rund 20.000 Liter Wasser. Diese Unterstützung ist lebenswichtig! Unsere Partner bringen das Wasser mit Lastwagen in die Camps, wo die Menschen ihre Kanister auffüllen können.

Aus Gaza erreichen uns viele dankbare, aber auch dringliche Nachrichten. Der Bedarf ist weiterhin riesig. Bitte macht weiter! 🩷

Lifeblood Foundation officially announces the opening of the online registration platform for displaced Palestinian families in Egypt to apply for humanitarian assistance during the first phase of the project.

Support may include:
• Food parcels
• Shopping vouchers
• Personal care kits

Services will be provided to the most vulnerable families based on an intelligent evaluation and analysis system designed to ensure transparency and fairness.

📌 Registration does not guarantee acceptance for assistance.

When laughter becomes resistance… and healing.

Yesterday, Lifeblood Foundation, in partnership with @@emergencysmile , organized a joyful theatrical comedy performance and recreational day for Palestinian refugee children at Bedaya Camp in Egypt.

These children have endured displacement, uncertainty, and loss — yet their smiles still shine with strength and resilience.

For a few precious hours, laughter filled the air.
For a few beautiful moments, they were simply children again.

At Lifeblood Foundation, we believe psychosocial support is not optional — it is essential. Because healing doesn’t only come through aid… sometimes it begins with a smile.

A heartfelt thank you to @emergencysmile for turning pain into laughter and standing with Palestinian refugee children when it matters most. Your presence made this day truly unforgettable.

This is Heba Al-Madhoun, a mother from Gaza ❤️🙏🏽

In one single day, she lost her husband, her daughter Haneen, and nearly her own life. That same day, she gave birth to her baby boy Mahmoud, while severely injured herself.

Heba lost the fingers of her left hand, suffered burns and lung bleeding, and still lives with daily pain. Her surviving children Abdulrahman, Aya, and baby Mahmoud were all wounded. Their home was destroyed.

Today, Heba is in Egypt, displaced with her children, trying to survive.

She needs urgent support:

- A prosthetic hand and rehabilitation

- Ongoing medical treatment for her and her children

- Safe housing, food, and essentials

💛 We've had the the chance to meet Heba and her kids in Cairo through Mimi. After all she's already been through, she is this strong and inspiring woman that needs our support so she can support her children. They deserve the best we can give them.
