Just lying on my bed, realizing that I’m alive, I can’t help but think about how many times I’ve fallen short.

I’m not perfect. I long to be closer to my Maker than I am today, yet I’m still human. There are times I do the very things I know I shouldn’t do.

And yet, every single time I come to my Lover, He never makes me feel worthless. He never reminds me of my failures before welcoming me. Instead, He opens His arms wide and invites me into His embrace

His love is far beyond anything this world can offer

A man or woman can walk away the moment things become uncomfortable….. People can leave within seconds!! So why do we spend so much of our lives trying to prove ourselves to people who cannot stay forever, when we already have Someone who never leaves?

He rejoices over you, He is proud of you, But His heart is also grieved when we knowingly do the things that pull us away from Him, Not because He hates us, but because He loves us.

It’s amazing how we call people heartbreakers and cheaters, yet we often do the same to God. We promise Him our hearts, then give our attention, affection, and obedience to everything else.

Think about it sis/bro🤔

You say you only have N1,000 left, yet you still had food to eat

You’ve seen people die, yet you’re still alive

You’ve survived things you never thought you would

So I ask myself, what did I do to deserve this kind of love?🥹😭

The answer is… obviously nothing

While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8)

Before we had grace
Before we had influence
Before we had anointing
Before we had money
Before we had a car
Before anyone knew our names…

He came

When I had no helper, He showed up

When I couldn’t lift myself, He carried me

He is still the lifter of men, He takes the one everyone has counted out, raises them up, and sets them where the world cannot ignore what His grace has done
