Stronger Than You Think: The Longevity Connection
Did you know that your grip strength is much more than just a gym stat? For women’s health, it’s actually one of the most powerful, non-invasive indicators of overall vitality and healthy aging.

Research consistently points to grip strength as a key biomarker for longevity. Here is why your grip matters:
Whole-Body Health: Your hand strength is a reliable proxy for your total muscular strength and skeletal health.

Cardiovascular Predictor: Studies have linked higher grip strength to a lower risk of cardiovascular disease and better metabolic health.

Functional Independence: Maintaining a strong grip as you age helps ensure you remain capable and independent in your daily activities.

Bone Density: Grip exercises often involve resistance, which helps promote bone density—a critical factor for women's long-term health.

The best part? Unlike many other health markers, grip strength is highly trainable!

How do you keep your grip strong? Follow along for more tips.

Strength training can feel intimidating, especially when you’re walking into a gym full of heavy equipment.

Trust me, I’ve been there. But if you’re a woman (even more important over 40),I cannot stress this enough: strength work is not just a "nice to have"—it is non-negotiable.

Building muscle is the single best investment we can make for our longevity, metabolism, and bone density as we navigate our 40s and beyond.

If you’ve been avoiding the strength section because it feels "too much," consider this your sign to start. Strength training is the ultimate act of self-care for women over 40. It builds the foundation we need to stay mobile, strong, and capable for the decades ahead. It’s okay to be intimidated, but don't let that stop you from doing what’s necessary for your health.ank you for the strength you're building today. 💪✨

One of those moments…

Some rides stay with you long after you leave the bike.

During our Spin®️ & Meditation Ride with @mimkleiberg , the room became more than a studio. It became a sanctuary—a place where movement met stillness, where every pedal stroke helped quiet the mind, and every breath brought us back to ourselves.

At The Zone Studio, we believe Spinning®️ is about more than fitness. It’s about finding that rare moment when your body is working, your mind is present, and your soul feels at peace.

This is the experience we create together.
Not just a workout.
Not just a ride.
A connection.

Thank you, Mim, for guiding us through such a beautiful journey, and thank you to everyone who shared this special moment with us. 💛

Remember, it’s not a class. It’s an experience.

Still trying to find the right words to capture the magic of this past event. 🇲🇹🚲✨

A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to my dear friend Krzysztof for inviting me to present at The Power Zone Malta.

To be part of something so special on the shores of Gozo Island is an experience I will hold close to my heart for a long time.
There was something truly transformative about Purified.

Sharing that energy, the movement, and that incredible sunset with such a beautiful community of people was a gift I am so grateful to have received.

Moments like these remind me exactly why I love what I do.

Krzysztof, thank you for your vision, your passion, and for bringing us all together to create such a powerful, unforgettable experience.

You poured so much into this, and it showed in every single detail.
Feeling incredibly blessed and inspired.

The final exhale. This was the third and final ride in a collaborative trilogy, moving from Circle of Kindness, through Demons, and finishing with Exhale. A powerful reminder of how challenging, yet necessary, it is to let go.
To my dear friend and colleague, @mimkleiberg, who was instrumental in creating these very personal rides - Thank you!!!. Thank you for travelling from Australia to share this journey with me: words cannot fully capture my love and gratitude for your beautiful energy. Having the opportunity to create something this meaningful alongside you is a memory I will cherish forever.
Thank you to my dear friend @krisonthebike @thezonemalta for your unwavering commitment to a decade of the Powerzone, allowing us all to experience the magic of Gozo and ride with a community that spans the globe. Your energy and passion for the bike is limitless. Much respect to you. To my Spinning®️ teammates, thank you for every single moment. It’s been unforgettable. 🤍
My final, deepest thank you goes to our participants. There is an indescribable connection that happens when people who don’t even speak the same language come together through a shared passion for the Spinning®️ program. To every rider who has journeyed to Malta over the years to share your energy and your love, you have my endless gratitude.
We won’t be sad because it’s over, we will be forever happy that it happened. ✨🇲🇹
