hue•mantra 2024 4’x 4’ Likely my favorite piece of the year, this painting has seen so many faces. Ive gone over and ‘ruined’ some of my favorite parts since. this piece is an inexplicable feeling i get when i feel everything around me: sudden moments of full brutal awareness. But only for a split second i am spliced into the components and organs that facilitate my breathing and the air is as conscious and knowledgeable as i am. only for a moment, i don’t think were emeant to acknowledge it. #mimza by @mimzabakovic

did two plein air paintings today… realized i really suck at painting inorganic things.. and that theres a reason they do plein air paintings with oil and not acrylic… the first one was an attempt to have fun and the second was a complete serious breakdown of the shapes and stuff and honestly wouldnt do again.. unless i tried oil 😁 by @mimzabakovic
