Mina here.

I wanted to give you a quick update on my situation, especially as I've been receiving a few messages regarding pending orders.

If you follow me on other social media, you may have seen that I had to make an emergency visit to the hospital a couple of nights ago due to my endometriosis. I'm currently going through a particularly severe flare that's making everyday activities very difficult.

A few weeks ago, I felt well enough to reopen the webstore and start taking care of orders again, at my own pace. As mentioned on the website, Bronze is an independent, self-managed band, and some of our merchandise is handmade by me personally.

Unfortunately, I wasn't expecting my health to take such a turn, and things have slowed down considerably. As a result, some orders haven't been processed yet and will take a little longer than originally anticipated.

As many of you know, I'm involved in pretty much every aspect of Bronze, from the music itself to the work behind the scenes. Endometriosis has been part of my life for a long time, but lately it's been particularly difficult to manage, and it's affecting much more than just my ability to work. I love what I do, and I have no intention of giving it up, but I also need to acknowledge that, at the moment, I simply can't do everything I would normally do.

Right now, even simple physical and mental tasks can be challenging. Things like screen-printing T-shirts, packing orders or making a trip to the post office are not always possible. I'm doing what I can, little by little, without pushing myself beyond my limits.

For the time being, much of my energy is going towards finding the medical help I need to hopefully improve my situation.

I've also received many lovely messages asking about my health and sending good wishes, and I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It really means a lot.

Nothing is going to stop me, but right now I need to slow down a little. Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support.

When you read that Bronze takes care of their own merch... we mean it.

I've been screen printing t-shirts for the band since 2020, in a very DIY way.

On this video you can see how I was printing around 2024: borrowing a large table, marking the middle of the t-shirts with thread for guidance so it would not erase, and hoping that I would not screw up either by making a crooked t-shirt, staining the fabric, or whatever mess might occur. And yep, there's been a crazy amount of t-shirts ruined over the years that have not made it to the store, because I try to keep the quality control as strict as possible. Some of the "bad ones" have been given away in a "you pay shipping, get t-shirt for free" system and you've been happily adopting them over the years, but we have A LOT of "bad ones" around hahaha.

Nowadays it's a bit easier, because I managed to get a printing station that I sometimes put over a big borrowed table in the laundry room (shhh🤭🤫 keep the secret, please), and I can center them better, skip the thread, and have a better workflow.
The system is far from perfect, and I still fuck up a lot of t-shirts, and it's very frustrating, aside from only being able to screen print in 1 ink... but I enjoy knowing that I'm doing my best and I'm bringing something extra for the band's lore, even if the method is as humble as it gets.

Maybe one day we'll have a proper space to work and expand the ideas, who knows!
I'm able to do small runs, bring any sizes, or choose weird color combinations!

So I built my own team.

Being picked last over and over again does something to you. Being the weird one, the awkward one, the one people don't choose: that shit doesn't magically disappear when it's over.

You carry parts of it with you forever.

The world is too big and wide. Are you telling me that I was supposed to feel uncomfortable everywhere on a planet with almost 13.000 km in diameter? Fuck no. There had to be space for me somewhere.

And with over 8 billion people, I refused to believe that everyone was going to "pick me last", or not at all.

And if that was somehow my fate? So be it. It wasn't going to stop me anyway.

If you don't find a place where you actually fit, you learn to build your own.
You get to choose who you work with, who you spend your time with, who gets a seat at your table, and who enriches the world you built.

I was picked last. Yes.That part happened.

But it wasn't the ending of my story. by @mina_walkure
