Country roads took me home, and somehow gave me so much more. Forever thankful to Morgantown for the friendships, memories, and everything this Exercise Physiology journey has taught me 💛💙

I did it.

West Virginia University… I’m not even sure where to begin. Four years ago, I walked into this chapter not knowing how much it would change me. And now, I’m leaving with a heart so full it almost hurts with a B.S. in Exercise Physiology. Thank you for the memories that shaped me, challenged me, and stayed with me. But more than anything, thank you for the people, the ones who walked into my life and somehow became my home. My second family. The people I never knew I needed, but now couldn’t imagine life without.

There were moments I didn’t think I’d make it to this point. The long nights, the tears, the uncertainty. But there were also the kind of laughs that made my stomach hurt, the kind of love that felt effortless, and the kind of memories I wish I could live in just a little longer. Morgantown, you gave me a life I’ll forever be grateful for. And leaving you… it’s going to be one of the hardest goodbyes I’ve ever had to say.

But I guess that’s the thing about chapters like this…they end, not because they weren’t good, but because they were so meaningful that they lead you somewhere even greater. So here’s to what was, and everything that’s still to come.
I’m so excited to continue my journey and pursue a Master of Science in Biomedical Science at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine this fall.

Onwards and upwards,
