-Anubis: Do we live the truth in our hearts?-

In order to bring my art to the streets of Egypt, I decided to choose something that shows respect for the country and its culture and fits in with my themes:
So I chose the Pharaonic gods, who inspire me greatly.

For my first mural, I chose Anubis: the Pharaonic god of death, protection and truth.
Anubis accompanies the dead to judgement and places their heart on one side of the scales and a feather on the other. This is to check whether we have lived in harmony with our hearts.

The question he asks us is:
Do we live the truth in our hearts?

Go and see the painting at the wonderful fruit shop of Hassen, Ramadan and Shehata. Thank you so much 💜

-Three circles of connection-

The circle of one
Leads to the other
Free and safe in each own circle

The area that connects
the two
opens up

At the protective line
of the heart

The inner security always there
Healing to the other place

Mirror flower
that grows
By itself

surrender to the connection
Love and pain
the lotus emerges

Until the moon
And back
To the sun

Each in its energy

It needs
Three circles of connection
To true unity

-Between Wanting and Needing Lies the Sea-
(Acrylics, Pastels on Canvas - 64,5x81cm)

Sometimes, we hold on to what we want so that we lose sight of what we truly need. Yet life often gives us exactly what allows us to grow, even when it looks different from what we imagined.

The shell in this painting represents transformation. It invites us to pause, to listen, and to allow ourselves to change.

🐚At the ear: Am I listening to my inner voice? Do the words I hear and speak in the outside world align with the truth I feel within?

🤍 At the heart: What does my heart truly need? And where am I holding on to something that separates me from what nourishes me?

✨ In connection with the universe: Can I let go of what I want and open myself to what I need? Can I trust that life may offer me its gifts in ways I would never have chosen myself?

Perhaps we don't always need to know where the journey is taking us. Perhaps we can learn to listen to life, trust our hearts, and open ourselves to the unknown.

Because sometimes, there is an entire sea between what we want and what we need. And perhaps that very sea is where transformation begins.

-Art Connects-

During my artist residency @bleibergerfabrik this summer in my home town of @stadtaachen , I painted the mural together with so many different people. 💫

It was lovely to see how spontaneously people joined in. Some came from the meadow to help paint, others came after work, and others just happened to be passing by. Everyone was welcome to stay for as long as they liked. So some painted a small area, whilst others stayed for hours or came back several times. It was lovely to see how much the artistic process brought us all together.
We painted, discussed how things could be done, and some simply sat down to watch and shared their ideas. 💫

It was a wonderful time, spending two weeks outdoors in the park with just us, the colours and a wall.

Thank you to everyone who was there – whether you took part, popped by, shared information or just said a quick hello. It was all part of the process, and it was absolutely lovely. 💫

Artist Residency: Art in a Container

During my artist residency in my home town @stadtaachen this summer, I spent two weeks painting a mural in a parc together with local residents of different generations. 💫

The theme was democracy. That’s why I decided to paint with brushes, so that everyone – regardless of age or previous experience – could join in. 💫

Many thanks @bleibergerfabrik and @xljnsn for the opportunity, the organisation and the space. 🙏🏽💫

Thanks to everyone who joined. It was a beautiful experience

-FEI World Championships Aachen 2026 🐎✨-

During the FEI World Championships Aachen 2026, I brought my project “Art in Motion” to the streets of my hometown @stadtaachen 💫

In the Year of the Horse, I created a special piece inspired by a horse and the Klenkes — the iconic raised little finger gesture that represents Aachen and its people. 💫

Bringing art into the streets, connecting with people, and creating spontaneous moments together made this experience truly special. 💫

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who spontaneously trusted me and opened themselves up to my art. 💜💫

It was beautiful.
Beautiful encounters.
Beautiful moments.

Art in motion. People in motion. Aachen in motion. ✨

💫 Kunst verbindet

Herzliche Einladung am 08.08.2026

☼ 16:00–16:30 Uhr
Augenkontakt-Meditation

Aachen, wo darf Kunst entstehen? 🎨
