I was pleased to participate in the Western Balkans Youth Forum in Budva, bringing together young people, experts, facilitators, and stakeholders from across the region within the framework of the Berlin Process.

This year’s Forum was particularly meaningful as it coincided with the celebration of 10 years of @rycowb work in fostering regional cooperation, reconciliation, intercultural dialogue, and youth mobility throughout the Western Balkans. It also took place during Montenegro’s Presidency of the Berlin Process, adding further significance to the discussions and outcomes.

A special acknowledgment goes to the Local Branch Office Montenegro team, whose dedication and hard work contributed greatly to the successful organization of the Forum and the creation of a space for meaningful dialogue and collaboration. @bojanalalatovic @una_vukotic @kolenovich.e

Throughout the Forum, participants engaged in discussions, workshops, and collaborative exercises aimed at developing joint recommendations on key issues affecting young people and the future of regional cooperation. The resulting recommendations will contribute to ongoing policy discussions within the Berlin Process framework and amplify the voices of young people from the region.

I had the opportunity to serve as one of the facilitators supporting this process. Working alongside engaged and motivated participants from diverse backgrounds was both inspiring and rewarding.
To support the development of recommendations, we applied the backcasting methodology. Starting from a shared vision for 2030, participants worked backwards to identify the necessary milestones, challenges, opportunities, and actions required to achieve that vision. This approach encouraged strategic thinking while ensuring that participants maintained ownership of both the process and the recommendations themselves.

Thank you to RYCO, fellow facilitators, organizers, and all participants for the opportunity to contribute to this important regional dialogue and to help shape recommendations for a more connected, inclusive, and cooperative Western Balkans. taken in Budva, Montenegro by @minamilovic

The BEST experience of my life so far!
@oneyoungworld 💙

I think the post speaks for itself but if you have any questions, feel free to ask. As an OYW Ambassador, I’d be happy to help anyone interested in applying for next year’s Summit in Cape Town, or the one after in Tokyo.

At OYW, you’re surrounded by incredibly bright, hardworking people, young changemakers, innovators, humanitarians, activists, scientists, journalists, entrepreneurs, even royals, Nobel Prize winners and true global leaders. You get the chance to share your vision, dive into meaningful discussions, start new projects, debate key issues, celebrate cultures… and yes, enjoy a good party too. ✨🎉

A biggest thank you I owe to @bojanalalatovic for being the initiator of my application for @oneyoungworld_munich 🫶🏻

My participation was made possible thanks to the Embassy of Change scholarship provided by the MFA of Montenegro. 🇲🇪 taken in Munich, Germany by @minamilovic
