As is the tradition on the 1st of January, here's my list of the books I read (both in paper and on Kindle) and listened to (on Audible) in 2025. I am no Obama, do not expect to find some highly sophisticated or complicated books on this list, but I am still proud I managed to read as much as I did. As always, there's Amy Tan, Saramago, some Japanese writers, a bit of sci-fi and some biographies. There's a few gems in this list, feel free to share your thoughts, feedback, etc. Ohhh and if I had to pick favorites, I'd probably be torn between The Third Realm, The Left Hand of the Darkness, Call me by your name and the Caucasus Diaries.
I've not set any goals for 2026, I never really do. Reading is a must in my world, just like exercise and nutrition, so it will be what it will be ))) But I do hope to read more in Russian, Turkish and maybe Spanish.

Ну что жжж?
Рассказать вам чем я занимаюсь тут в Баку последние 2.5 недели кроме того как видеться с друзьями и ходить по родственникам ну и конечно по ресторанам?
Как вы уже поняли с моего последнего поста, я специально приехала так, чтобы попасть на все семинары моего учителя, моего наставника @aleksandra.grace и благодаря её рекомендациям и доверия в мои силы я стала проводить сеансы массажa с активацией света.
Те кто знают меня давно, знают, что я всегда с удовольствием массировала друзьям и близким плечи, шею потому что внутри меня всегда было желание "дотронуться" до кого-то, облегчить их боль, помочь расслабиться, дать свет или просто передать немного любви. Ну вот я наконец-то занимаюсь любимым делом благодаря навыкам и знаниям которые я получила на курсе "Целитель XXI века" (@gracehealingacademy) и провожу целительные сессии в Баку! Я уже успела провести несколько сеансов и получила такие душевные отзывы, что очень захотелось поделиться ими здесь. Why do we read? Why is there literature? There are probably as many answers as there are great books written by some amazing human beings (mind you, not all writers are good people, but I still have to give them a credit for producing works of art). We can turn to books when we are hurting, we can pick up something to read when we are bored, we can feel the joy of taking a book from the shelf and smelling its pages, we can forget ourselves when lost in the stories, we can build fantasy worlds through reading, we can find friends in fictional characters, we can let ourselves loose and we can find ourselves anew when a novel finishes. Reading is magical and it can heal the heart without you noticing. And in today's world, when there's so much doom'n'gloom, we need books more than ever, to remind us that there is life to be enjoyed, that there are stories to uplift us, that laughter is the best medicine and it is available to all of us. So I made a compilation of books that will make you laugh and maybe cry, but they will restore your faith in humanity and they will want you to live and create and love with every fiber of your being.
